The Beach Hotel

LOVELEY ROOM ,CLEAN, FRESH MILK A BONUS, BREAKFAST WAS HOT AND DELICIOUS. PURFECT LOCATION, 5 MIN WALK FROM RESTAURANTS /PUBS. STAFF ARE EXCELLENT. ALL WAS GOOD

The staff are really nice and very helpful and the location is very good. The breakfast was disappointing this time. They had run out of Croissants by 9 am plus we had to ask for fresh coffee. One of the girls cooking the food had long blonde hair that wasn't tied up. Also not much variety on the continental side just cereal and croissants sometimes. No fresh fruit even a banana would have been nice. Also our room was not very clean. There was a huge bird mess on the main window which was not cleaned the whole time we were there which was 3 nights. We asked for the room to be cleaned the 2nd day and the bed wasn't even made properly. I feel that for the cost it was very disappointing. We have stayed here on numerous occasions.

Lack of parking, but the hotel is next to the public carpark I think it is £7 for a day parking

Easy to book in. Lovely view of the sea front in our lovely room. staff and food were really nice in the morning for breakfast. Would have loved to have eaten in the hotel in the evening, but there was no availability, only lunch.

No mention of dogs in residence till money paid. Never seen so many well behaved dogs in vicinity. No lifts in this hotel.

Breakfast - excellent, freshly prepared and Hot on arrival. Bathroom - Suggest installing a Shower Screen.

Perfect location. Our room overlooked the sea front. Right next door to the Heritage Railway. Nothing

Bed was uncomfortable

Right next to the West Somerset Railway, we could even watch the station from our room. Staff did their best for us. We needed to extend to a 4th night. They allowed us to keep our same room after at first saying we couldn't 15:00 check in strictly enforced. Shower temperature not stable. Slamming corridor door.

The staff were rude

Everything was great from the check in to the check out. Lovely room, amazing breakfast, everything that you could want in a hotel. Nothing.

Situated close to the beach / steam railway. Large clean room plenty of tea and coffee , well stocked bar tasty freshly cooked breakfast, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed was a little on the hard side but I had a good night's sleep. I tried to open the window and the bottom sash didn't stay up and the top sash felt unsafe like it would fall out, no coat hooks or hanging space in my room. There were minor issues to what was a great stay

Breakfast was perfect, although think prob better to take your order on the morning. One of our group was poorly so a full breakfast went to waste. Not sure how many times you experience this. Obviously I’m sure people change their mind. Outside area and downstairs toilets could be better

Location was great just next to the railway station and by close to the beach and the town. Parking was nearby and free but limited in number. The room was bug enough for the 2 of us. The room was spacious but there was no air conditioner and so was a bit warm and had to lift up the window to let some air in. An AC would be a great plus point. There was renovation going on and the window view was blocked by the scaffolding. Getting to the room on the first floor through 2 doors along a long corridor was a tough task as there was no lift.

thenroom was nice and plenty of room. Comfy bed. The menu could have been better and more choice.
