Hotel Giacosa

The hotel itself is perfect. The personal is nice, the room was nice and we had a lot of space. The location is not ok. It is close to the metro but the streets from there to the hotel was not ok. We didn’t feel safe in the neighbourhood and after the trip I checked that everyone recommended to avoid it at night. Well, we had to walk at night 2 times and yes, it was shady but we had no problems.

AC was centralized, set to 16°C and we couldn't change the temperature ao it was very cold during the night.

La localisation, le petit déjeuner La literie était inconfortable et l'isolation phonique inexistante. Plus grave encore : la chambre attribuée (n°30, 2ème étage) ne correspondait absolument pas à notre réservation "Chambre Double Deluxe avec Balcon" (14 m², vue mentionnée). À la place, nous avons hérité d'une petite chambre d'environ 9-10 m², sans balcon, avec vue sur l'arrière-cour—une catégorie qui n'est même pas proposée sur Booking. Malgré notre signalement, la direction s'est montrée totalement indifférente, se contentant de répondre que l'hôtel était complet. C'est inadmissible.

Останавливалась на одну ночь, все было хорошо. Комната чистая, персонал вежливый, всегда придет на помощь. Отель уютный. Завтрак был вкусный.

Good distance from city centre. Good rooms and sheets. The smell inside the room was strange

The area is a bit shady, and it is a bit far from the metro.

We were here for a short stop-over between Venice and Florence. We didn't need anything fancy, just clean and comfortable and this place was perfect. We wanted a twin and a queen bed and they offered this option rather than a foldout sofa that we'd seen for most places for three travelers. For 9 euros we got breakfast - coffee, pastries, fruit etc. The usual. It was good, not great. Again, nothing fancy. Just simple, clean space and comfortable beds. On the map it looked closer to Milano Centrale then it really is - it was a 25 min walk, so taxi/uber might be better if you have luggage. There is an strip club a few doors down. The immediate food options are not good.

Wish there was a kettle in the room! But that’s about it!! A little sketchy neighbourhood!

Hard Bed. Not enough lighting in room

The juice from the breakfast did not have any taste at all.It was just like water. This was the only problem,which is not big.

staff, facilities, and breakfast were excellant, the only downside was the local environment was a little intimidating at first. streets very dirty and unwelcoming, but that appears to be the norm for the cities of europe now. nothing with the hotel, the city needs to improve its pavement and streets.

The location was very good near the metro station but i didn't like the neighborhood.

Suppose to have city view. We had a view of a parking lot and trash. Also, need directions in English on how to use climate control like they have for the safe.

It's easy to access through public transport The pillows were too hard

Friendly staff/owner? The room was just ok, floor could have been cleaned everytime I got into bed had dust from feet clean off onto sheets, The noise could be heard at all times, was terrible, they must of had renovations because the drilling and hammering kept us awake it would have been nice if they forwarned us! The other was the location was less to be desired! Was ok, probably would not return!
