We loved everything about our stay - the staff were all helpful and friendly, and they gave us good advice about our time in Merano (how to get around, where to eat, etc). They were even able to book us into the spa in town, with a 10% discount. They are all bilingual (German/Italian), with most also speaking English. The breakfast was delicious, with a nice range of fresh cold meats, juices and cheeses, and tea or coffee made fresh. The only thing I could criticise is that the toilet roll was too large for the toilet roll holder, so it was difficult to get toilet paper out.

Lovely hotel, very friendly staff. Breakfast was amazing, best I have ever had anywhere. I highly recommend this hotel.

Good breakfast. Nice pool at the property (which we did not have time to use). Pension Sankt Urban is located in a nice villa neighborhood in the outskirts of Merano. Rooms very hot (30C). Fan in the room was provided but needs some kind of cooling system on hot summer days. Had room on the top floor. Kept door to balcony open over night and fan running. Was only able to get the temperature down to 29C.
