We really liked that it was located in a quiet cul de sac on a small hill with tree lined residential roads with beautiful houses all around. Close enough to walk down the hill to central Merano about 15 minutes but also directly on the free bus route it’s perfect to enjoy peace and quiet in the hotel and the happy bustle of Merano a short distance away. It’s also within 15 minutes walk or couple bus stops of the famous Trauttmansdorff castle and gardens - a big bonus! This is a stylish hotel with quality fittings run by a family who know how to look after you. From the perfect heated pool surrounded by lush Mediterranean trees and flowers with day beds to the terrace restaurant and lovely mountain scenery from our balcony and smart contemporary bathroom. We loved it all! Free parking in their car park area. They speak English too!

We very much enjoyed our two week stay at Hotel Ladurner. We loved the comfortable room with nice views, the gourmet food, friendly staff and the spa facilities. Downtown and the botanical gardens are both walking distance. Merano is a beautiful town, and a great location to reach the Dolomites, Lake Garda, or the Etschtal valley. We would happy stay at Hotel Ladurner again!

We loved our stay at Hotel Ladurner, the room was clean and a good size, the locations and views were fantastic and the spa facilities and pools were great. Breakfast and dinner were included and we enjoyed all the meals. The staff were fantastic too

Good facilities, friendly staff, comfortable room with dressing gown and slippers. The food was good and we made use of the outdoor pool. We were supplied with a guest card that gave us free rides on local train and bus services and a few cable cars. The bus stop was close for town/station and gardens.
