the dinner and breakfast is just ok, not worth the money
-
Comfort and service were excellent! We especially enjoyed using the sauna and pool. Location was not so good, but the tram rides were very convenient.

Breakfast was just okay, as was dinner., very basic though. Could not get coffee machine to work. While the hotel was beautiful, the rooms were just a tad too dark, especially the bathroom. Not good for putting on makeup. Staff brilliant and could not do enough Needed more light in rooms, even if you then turn lighting down, but do provide ability to have more light in rooms should you need it.

Excellent, lovely and modern facilities - great indoor pool with stunning city views. The staff were amazing, very accommodating and even kindly let us check in early morning upon arrival. Can’t say enough good things, this was a fantastic experience. Nothing.

From the moment we stepped out of the taxi onto the driveway outside the building, we were treated so professionally, were shown how to find reception and given all the information we needed to find our stunningly beautiful room. This is a very impressive hotel at the upper end of the budget, but exceptional value for money. Absolutely nothing could have been improved.

Everything The food in the restaurant was expensive and was very limited to choice would probably not go back

Service in keeping with its price

Hotel was nice and clean. Some of the stuff members were rude. Front desk employees were amazing!

Location was great. Walkable to many things. They never delivered a cake that was sent to us for our wedding anniversary by family.
-
The view was incredible It felt a little disconnected from the city centre.
-
All was very good. Stayes there for business.

The Lobby 80th story Location is a bit off from the city
-
Everything was very clean and extremely comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Beautiful view of the city from the room the rooms are spacious and very well kept.

The staff recognised us and greeted us by name. They remembered what we ordered the day before. Everyone greeted us from the front door through to the lobby and all the facilities. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, happy and felt welcome. The room was luxurious, comfortable and went beyond what I expected. The pool, the views, the bar and restaurant were all wonderful. I hadn't realised there was a hot tub, sauna and steam room. They were located in the ladies' facilities. I liked that they were segregated but would have been good to highlight it a little better.

Amazing views from the 80th floor reception area and the rooms. Ours was on floor 75. There was also a fantastic spa pool and gym. Staff were friendly courteous and went out of their way to help. Som quibbles: Room service menu was lacklustre and the food was not great. Both for dinner and for breakfast in the room. Pool needed controls on use by children. Eg not before 9.30am. Children used the pool at any time of day and this was not helpful for serious swimmers wanting a morning exercise. The lockers in the changing rooms did not really work. Many were reserved for the spa and others just didn’t work properly. This is absolutely not good enough.

Fantastic staff with customer services front of mind. Truly incredible views of Melbourne from the 80th floor where you check in, relax in the lounge bar or have dinner / breakfast. The rooms are a good size and have a luxurious feel. I highly recommend booking a room with a view so you are not disappointed. Its worth the extra to get the WOW view. The breakfast is 'buffet' is ordinary with a very strong smell of cheese wafting across the breakfast fruit and cereals. The cooked breakfast is very nice. The pillows are very flat. A pillow menu would be a good addition. The lighting in the bathroom / vanity desk / wardrobe area is way too dark. At minimum a wall mounted, magnifying mirror that is has lighting should be standard for a hotel such as this. It is a nightmare trying to apply makeup.

Great overall experience

The view is exceptional and staff are generally excellent, particularly Renee and Ralph. It is a beautiful hotel with customer service front of mind. The rooms are a good size with a design attention-to-detail that gives a luxe feel. The robes are glorious (I bought one). Dinner in the ‘bar lobby’ is excellent. The buffet is very ordinary and not close to high-end international standards. We travel a lot and found it underwhelming in comparison to other experiences. Also having ‘smelly cheese’ close to the fruit and cereal is unpleasant. The pillows are very flat even for me as I generally like a low loft pillow. A pillow menu would be good. The lighting in the bathrooms and vanity mirror is hopeless if you like to wear makeup. I would have expected a wall mounted, magnifying mirror that lights up. This is fairly standard in 5star hotels.
