This is a solid, convenient choice in Malate, especially if you want to be near Rizal Park, the U.S. Embassy, Manila Bay, malls, restaurants, and nightlife. lots of constructions nearby

The price should have been much lower, website did not say major construction. Taxi had a hard time finding the main lobby.

Housekeepings Michelle did a wonderful job keeping up the room, the laundry, the room service items etc. I really enjoyed my stay there in downtown Manila.

Good breakfast and staffs are so good need to complete the renovation soon.

Hotel under renovation and main entrance is closed with a lot of construction noise with out any notification

Even though the hotel was under renovation, so pool area was not available. The price for four nights was a deal especially being in the heart of the city, the staff all friendly, polite and extremely welcoming and helpful to all guest. Not once’s did I not get greeted by someone of the staff, that’s a small detail, but for new guest it’s nice to have. Room might need to be revamped, though spacious, it seems very old style, bathroom was really nice but just room like carpeting, paint work and furniture should be updated.

Always stay here when in Manila. It’s under renovation right now. The pool and gym are temporarily closed. This was stated when I booked.

The staff. EVERY person we came in contact with was exceptional. From the front desk, to the concierge, EVERY SINGLE PERSON was amazing. Our room was rife with black mold. Only 3 outlets in our room worked. One out key was literally about to fall out the wall and you could see exposed wires. The carpet was dirty, there were so many small flies in the bathroom and the room was in a very bad state. We’ve been staying there since it was the Hyatt. This place has unfortunately fallen far from grace. Used to be a REAL 5 star property. Now it’s 1.5 stars at best. The pool was closed as well. Overall, it was not a great experience.
