The staff were amazing The ac took a while to get going

On the first floor at least, you'll be able to hear the noise from the street and restaurant very clearly. It can be difficult to sleep through it until it stops...at around 1am on a weekday evening. If you're not joining in with the nightlife, bring earplugs!

This is a lovely hotel. It's located on a great street full of tapas destinations. The staff is friendly and helpful. Our room was kept very clean and beds were super comfortable. Overall would definitely recommend!

Lovely, friendly hotel in an outstanding location. We had a room with a balcony overlooking lively Calle Cava Baja, and even though we were surrounded by bars and restaurants, it was quiet enough to get a good night’s sleep. The bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, and the hotel staff is really welcoming and helpful. It’s a beautiful, historic property that’s surrounded by great restaurants and a short stroll to many attractions. No complaints.

Very clean and nice. A cool blend of modern and still maintaining old world touches. Very nice street of Bars and restaurants. Convenient to the metro and to the sites of Madrid. Friendly staff. Comfortable and elegant room.

I found this hotel via a local's blog and I was not disappointed. The property is historic, well-maintained, and beautiful. My room was comfortable, quiet, and well-appointed. The staff were extremely helpful, and in my experience, went above and beyond my expectations for service. (Thank you, Helene!) I honestly can't think of anything.

Great location! So many places to eat right around. Not overly "touristy" right around the hotel. We were on the 2nd floor and could smell people smoking from their courtroom area one night but that is my only negative feedback.
