Hostal Victoria I

The balcony connected to the room was nice for some little views and the breakfast included was nice. We didn’t use the pool but it looked lovely and the location wasn’t too far from the beach if you don’t mind walking. Communication was not great at all. We had an issue with the showers and nobody got back to us. The staff was not very welcoming, helpful or friendly overall and it affected my partner’s experience more than it should have.

Air Conditioner, mini fridge, safe box, Lift, one double bed room 201, small but practical room and bathroom. Good value for the money. Excelente location. Metro lines 1,2,3 at the corner, short distances trains as well, including the connection to the airport. Only saw the staff at check-in which is a couple of doors down(Calle Carretas 3) 2nd floor as well. If they keep the prices as moderate as the are this is a great place to stay in Madrid, I status for one night on a Sunday and I paid 65 € which is a great price for Madrid Nothing…. All was good.. no chandeliers and red carpets, all ver basic but practical room. I definitely recommend this Hostal Victoria . Definitely recommend this place

Location is fantastic— steps from the Sol metro stop Aging property that was partly cool, but stairs and elevator both seeemed creaky.

Not really space in the room the walls are very close to the bed.

Its close to everything and easy to find. Its loud because walls are think but for a couple days in the heart of the city, its no big deal!

Excellent. Located at the center. Everything is nearby-shops, restaurants, metro etc. Check-in office and rooms are in different building. You will be puzzled for sure. We were in the fifth floor. Stairs were squeaky and very old. Super slow elevator with one person capacity. Never seen such one in whole of my life. Noisy rooms.

Good location, small but nice room. The lady at check in was friendly and helpful. Kind of a strange building. Lots of other uses mixed into this building. Works for a short stay.

Sheets were very stained, though front desk gave us new sheets.

It is in a very good location, the rooms were clean a big problem for tourists is that the staff does not know English at a basic level, and the reception and rooms are located in different buildings, which is inconvenient, and the bathroom is very small.

Fantastic location,right in the city center and relatively economical Room was very small and bed and pillow was very stiff and uncomfortable

Location This hotel is not accessible by car but this point was not communicated clearly. The result is long time driving around in the old city of Madrid and cannot find it. The reception is in Victoria II, and Victoria I is not searchable on google map. The elevator can take one person and moves at one foot per second. The floor in the hall way are rotten and feel unsafe.

Most of the time, you cannot get in the élévator. The réception is in the other building & not convenient at all.

Location Ac wasn’t working in the room told the guy that was working he was very rude, he got me another room that didn’t have electricity at all called him again he came up after 30 minutes and had the nastiest altitude
