Very nice and clean interiors. Very attentive and friendly staff. Excellent location. Access to the Sol Metro station, from where you can go anywhere. The building in its external appearance and street lacks maintenance, dirty and convulsed. Inside the building is old and not pretty. Only when you reach the 2nd floor where the Hotel itself is located does everything change. Bad breakfast.

There was quite a lot of noise from the corridor and surrounding rooms. Breakfast is not onsite and was only available as of 07.30 AM, which is quite late for business travel.

very nice location which we can walk to many interesting places. There are many nice restaurant nearby which are very convenient for us. Staffs are very nice and willing to help. We love to stay again in the future.

Breakfast was ample, and located a block away at a nearby restaurant. Staff there was kind and attentive. Enough choices for a week long stay. Plenty of closet space, comfy beds. 24-hour staffed desk. The toilet paper holder was located behind and above the toilet. Not possible to reach it comfortably from a seated position. No towel racks. No hooks, except one in the shower. No way to hang and reuse towels. Everything was switched out every day. Only one electrical outlet in the main room, one in the bathroom. Minimal desktop space. Minimal info given on how too check in. The lobby is on the level 2 (3rd floor north american), No signage at the door, except the buzzer for the door. The Brit-themed futbol bar on the street level was loud. The rooms facing the street were noisy until 3 am everyday. Not sure about the ones on the inner courtyard.

Good location Room was right in front of reception and next to wooden stairs. I could here everything that was said in reception. That would have been fonexcept the employees would chat encessantly from 10 to 1 am. Toilet broke and they could fix it because the plumber wouldn’t show up. I could have fixed ina 5 min run to the hardware store. When I suggested to the receptionist that I was interested in tKeing an uber to the airport he went on a 5 min diatribe about how is ruining the city and was clearly racist toward the immigrants “who are the uber drivers”.

The perfect base for a Madrid city break! The value for money here is unbeatable. If you are looking to explore Madrid on foot for 2 or 3 days, the location is exceptional. While the room is on the smaller side, it is incredibly cozy and features an excellent shower. Plus, the internet speed is lightning fast, which was a huge bonus. Highly recommended! The hotel building itself is a bit dated and shows its age, but don't let that deter you—the staff keeps everything spotlessly clean and well-maintained. Also, be aware that the bathroom layout is very open to the bedroom. It’s perfectly fine for most, but if you’re a "shy couple" who values extra privacy, just a heads-up that the bathroom is quite integrated into the room!

The location we didn’t realize how close was from the plaza mayor (sol) it was at the center of everything. The security was great. 100% recommend Nothing

Room was clean, but very cold. Also, water didnt came properly in shower.

What we expected. Staff, cleanliness, comfort of bed/room, facilities, all that was very good value. The location was top, at the very centre of everywhere we wanted to go within walking distance, such that using transportation was not even necessary. Breakfast was simple, but good. Breakfast location just a few metres from the accomodation in a nice local restaurant. A kettle for a quick cuppa before bed would have been nice, especially since we had a refrigerator in our room. Not that this was a big fault, but it being Winter, it would have been appreciated.

Location was great Daily cleaning was good 1) At Check-in, when we wanted to pay with Credit Card, we were forced by the reception staff to select USD instead of EUR on POS device, claiming this is company policy (which is not the case as no such thing was mentioned in Booking.com property policy section, see attached photo), finally we were charged for 3 nights total 831,08 USD instead of 690 EUR that we were guaranteed by Booking.com, meaning 717,31 EUR (see European Central Bank spot ratev on Nov 27th: 1,1586) But with the Bank rates, it makes 721€ instead, meaning in total I have to pay now 31€ more than expected at booking. 2) Room was very cold, not easy to heat with the inverter heater inside, no slippers provided, the ground was freezing, towels were so small, not enough bathroom sanitary ware, finally we got cold and sick at the final day of our stay

It can be a little noise during the night with people partying outside. A little messy outside the motel in the morning, but was cleaned up by 10 am.
