The room was acceptable for an overnight stay. I was exhausted after flying from Australia. The staff member who checked me in, directed me to the rabbit warren of stairs and corridors downstairs, but didn't offer to help. It was hot. I had a heavy suitcase, a backpack and a carry-on bag, and I had to struggle back up the stairs (same the following morning) to get my bags down / back up the narrow staircase. Not for the faint-hearted.

Very clean everything in there that I needed nothing was too much for staff they was perfect Not a complaint but the little pull out sofa bed the cushion kept slipping down so my daughter ended up sleeping on the wooden slats maybe need something with fixed cusions on but she didn’t complain

The staff were very accessible and friendly. The breakfast at the next door hotel included was very good. The beds are very small and the mattress wasn't too comfortable.

The location is excellent, literally a two minute walk across the road from King's Cross. The shower pressure was actually quite good and the shower was hot. The room had water and tea making facilities, although we did not use the water as it was not in a sealed bottle. The room was incredibly hot, a fan was provided but this had to be kept on the full time to even feel like it made a small amount of difference. There was a cool breeze outside, and a coolness was felt as soon as you left the room. The room in general could do with a touch up, the flooring was warped and the room generally could do with a lick of paint. I thought it was odd to have to pay £50 damages deposit when the room was in poor condition - for example the bed lights were hanging on by a thread and the thing which I think was the wardrobe, was not even attached to the wall properly. They could have easily been broken, but due to poor quality rather than customer damage.
