The hotel was in a perfect location for our needs. Close to the river to see the boats. Tower bridge was a short distance away for our exciting evening walk with a 7 and 8 year old. The tube station was so close it was great. The hotel itself had a very calm atmosphere with great staff. Breakfast was superb and the restaurant served a very nice dinner. The room was a good size with a lovely bathroom Everything was good. The sofa bed could have had a larger duvet for an adult and child but I asked for another and was given one almost immediately.

Fantastic location. Walk across one black and you are at Tower of London. We walked across every night to see the Tower lights. You have a great view of the Shard from here too. Lots of restaurants at St Katherine’s dock. Also super easy commute as Tower Bridge tube has a lift, making it super easy with lifts, and only a short block’s walk to the hotel. We had two kids on a sofa bed and the room was plenty big enough with our five suitcases. There is a Pret at Tower of London, so a great place to grab a coffee and snack before you start the day. Easy to walk across the bridge and down to Borough Markets. Thames Clipper ferry also departs from Tower of London. Can’t beat this location. Easy commute and clean, modern rooms. Bathroom wall is frosted, which means you can see the outline of the person in the shower. Fine for our little one, but our teenager showered with the lights off in the bathroom and only room lights on, so she could see, but we couldn’t see her. There was no design benefit from this frosted window. Would recommend painting over to make a solid wall between bathroom and bedroom.

Both the room and the location were excellent. We found it really easy to get around London and back to the Hotel where we needed to. The room was fantastic and well thought out. It offered an extremely comfortable nights sleep. Loved it. The only information that I think was lacking was the fact that the Hotel had some leisure facilities. I looked for this when I booked and couldn't see it. It was a surprise when we were informed at check in. Having spoken to a couple of other guests at the hotel, they felt the same which would suggest that this information maybe needs to be clearer.

It’s in a lovely clean, quieter area We were given a wheelchair accessible room and the shower didn’t drain properly. The bathroom door was damaged and swollen on the bottom so obviously this has been an ongoing issue.

I stayed for two nights. Overall, the hotel has a fantastic location, which is extremely convenient for exploring London and many interesting attractions. The facilities are relatively modern and well maintained, and most of the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. One member of staff was particularly friendly and helpful (23 August Sunday morning and afternoon time), although unfortunately I cannot remember his name (seems from Pakistan (?)). Overall, I had a pleasant stay, especially thanks to the excellent location, although I had expected slightly more for the price of a four-star hotel in central London. There were a few aspects that could perhaps be improved. The room was quite cold during my stay, and as the central air conditioning was only providing cool air (even in summer), I needed to request additional heaters. I understand that this may not be an issue for many guests, but I personally found the room quite cold in late August. Housekeeping also came to my room quite early, at around 9am. I happened to be ready at the time, so this was not a problem for me, but it might be inconvenient for guests who are still resting. The lifts were occasionally out of service, and the hotel could be quite noisy at times, particularly in the evening.
