Montcalm Brewery Townhouse

Problems with air-conditioning.

The location was excellent as we needed to be near The Barbican The breakfast was excellent with lots of choice Nothing really

I wish I could have done a remote checkout, leaving a card in the room or at a drop box. I had a LOT of luggage because I was moving my child/college student out of Guildhall and it was hard to get back into the lobby and then make my train.

The bathroom was quite large and having a small fridge was helpful. The offerings for breakfast was plenty! The location was very convenient. It was a little confusing to locate initially. The room was a bit smaller than expected.

The bed was super nice and comfortable, the room was big, and there were black out curtains which helped with sleeping. Also very central. It is an old and aging property, with yellow stains in the mould of the bathroom, furniture chipped, PowerPoints not working, no USB C sockets, and the room itself was I a different building altogether.

It was extremely hot outside. The air conditioned room was appreciated but it was too cold. I would up the temperature on the thermostat but it didn’t seem to respond. We were supposedly given an accessible room, but the tub was high and difficult to get in and out of

Location. Great townhouse room. Air conditioning very weak on first two nights and not working on last two nights of stay.

The staff, location and main building was lovely. Unfortunately our room had only 1 light working in the bathroom, which made it very hard to dress properly for our event. Also, the bathroom was not very clean, the shower was dirty. The other room lights were very dim. The phone in the room was also not working. We wanted to call the front desk to see about breakfast times, but could not. The window sills were very dirty too.

Awesome location - very quiet and close to the underground. We felt very safe walking around the area. Clean facility and the staff was extremely kind and welcoming. Rooms are large for London and very comfortable. Good amenities. Lots of choices for restaurants, coffee, retail nearby. Breakfast was a bit underwhelming - too many people in a small space. Choices were good overall, but bagels/bread were dry and hard. Long queues for coffee. Water pressure in the shower was low. The entire shower/tub should actually be replaced.

Pretty run down, but ok

Good location a short walk from multiple Tube stops/lines. Very friendly staff.

It was a little hard finding your way to breakfast from your room. Its a like a maze.

The bed was not as comfortable as you would expect.

Excellent hotel, clean, amazing breakfast, very helpful staff.

This is a beautiful hotel, superb breakfast, beautiful rooms, clean, cosy & warm 1st class customer service from all the staff If your in a club room you get an invite into piano bar for complentary drinks 5 - 7 pm Approx 15-20 min walk to St Paul's Cathedral & Tower Bridge in the other direction Nothing

Location was awesome, rooms were beautiful and the staff were exceptional Nothing! Everything was great.

Staff were very friendly, room was nice and clean, quiet location, breakfast was great The bed was way too soft, so we both ended up with back pain. The bed was also very small for 2 people even though it was booked as a stay for 2 people, it was only 120cm wide.
