1. The beds are not comfortable 2. Our room was not cleaned. Around 5pm we called the reception and the lady came to change towels and just straightened the beds 3. Our room had two beds but only one bed could watch the TV, the position of the TV was bad...at least they could put a moving bracket. 4. We communicated with one of the Managers before arriving and informed her that we will arrive in the morning and she promised to see if we can get a room early but I was told a room was ready that morning but had to pay £600 more for the room. I refused and we had to w as it until 3pm...We arrived at the hotel at 9am.

Great view of Big Ben and the London eye. Very busy tourist area, but very convenient to most of the major sites. I treated my mother and daughter to noon tea in the library, and it was very nice experience, but wasn't expecting $420 bill. In the end, they were both happy and I'm the favorite son, lol The customer care was great, but not to the level of smaller hotels that focus directly to their customer's needs. Breakfast wasn't anything special.

The evening staff at Gillray's restaurant were phenomenal. Vineet, Ruchika, and Saurabh went above and beyond to make our stay special. Since this USA-to-London trip was my son's dream, they made sure we had the best possible view of Big Ben during our visit to Gillray's. Their kindness and attention to detail created a memory that my son and I will always cherish. We truly appreciated their exceptional hospitality, and the next time we visit London, we will definitely stay at this hotel again. I stayed here with my 4-year-old son and my brother from July 7–11, and we had a wonderful experience overall. The only downside was the check-in process. It was slow, and although the official check-in time was 3:00 p.m., we arrived around noon and had to wait in the lobby until our room was ready at 3:00 p.m. I had contacted the hotel in advance to ask about the possibility of an early check-in, but unfortunately it could not be confirmed.

I was very sick and my early check-in request had been confirmed by email. I was told my room would be ready soon, but I waited almost four hours. After I insisted at the front desk, I was immediately given a different room. If another room was available, I don’t understand why I was kept waiting for so long.

Amazing location. Historic building. Wonderful customer service from the Hotel Manager who I was lucky enough to meet! Didn’t have a bath in room but shower was lovely!
-
Beautiful building, attentive staff greet and carry bags into the property. Rooms were beautiful and spacious. Check-in time was 3pm, however we were left to wait until around 3.30pm. Usually this would not be such an inconvenience, however I was travelling with my sister who has stage 4 cancer and she was uncomfortable and tired. I made the hotel aware of this before we arrived, but it wasn’t taken into account. We were also placed in a room (408) that was really far from the lift- again, a long walk for someone with serious health conditions.

The location and the historical building

Pool was good and the room was really nice and clean. The view from the balcony was spectacular. Breakfast was not open buffet and it didn’t have halal options.
-
Location and friendliness of the staff. Distance between the room and the elevators.

Excellent location The quality of the bed was below expectation, not as comfy as the Marriott bed/ beddings that we are used to in Hawaii and Asia. The towels were hard, unpleasantly rough.
