Breakfast was good and the staff in the kitchen were pleasant and helpful. Aesthetics Bed linen was dirty but masked by the decorative ensemble provided for the birthday. Spa facilities was poor. Spa facilities are not as advertised online. Inadequate staffing and knowledge of spa facilities. Lack of information upon checking in to say spa facilities were inoperable, not giving the customer an opportunity to cancel and go elsewhere. Staff were not attentive and more or less invisible due to watching the world cup. Staff lacked attention to detail. No hot water in the evening for shower only in the morning. This was communicated only for the morning by reception but failed to inform about the evening. Which hotel has inadequate hot water services? Car parking was non existent!! However looking out from the top floor, I noticed several empty spaces. Poor customer service and was challenging finding an intelligible member of staff who was honest. Too much dramatics when they are fully aware about their ineffective spa facilities. Health and safety hazards with abandoned trolleys blocking lift access, cleaning materials and tools left on stairwells/emergency exits. The attention given to other guests whereas we were left abandoned, unnoticed and invisbile as if our needs didn't matter.

Beautiful building, clean, welcoming. I did not use the spa facilities. Good / nice cleaning and front desk staff. Breakfasts were the same every day, choices limited, coffee from a machine and just okay. No serving.

Staff were nice and attempted to be helpful in solving the property's problems. Room was clean and the octagonal suite was unique. AC could not cool the room at all - it would blow cool air but not at a volume high enough to reduce the room temp below 24C. It also shut off spontaneously during the night despite not hitting target temperature. There were 3 different controls for the AC unit and all read different temperatures for both target and current room temperature - apparently the TV has the master control which does not match up with the typical guests assumptions. Wifi was horrid despite the high speed - frequent disconnects makes it unusable for work calls of any sort. Bathroom is quite cramped and the water flow is poor - water runs to only one of the sink or the shower/tub at a time.

Location was good to ExCel London Exhibition Center, Staff was very helpful, esp. Mostafa at the reception was always ready to help us. The bathroom in the octogonal room is too small

Beautiful building very clean and well maintained. Nothing well located and central very close to shopping and food. The staff were amazing from checking to checkout they could not be more helpful and friendly went above and beyond. Requested rooms near each other as had an elderly relative with us and were happy to oblige. Well informed when we checked in. Special thank you to Anurag and all the staff ex excellent 5 stars

The room did not have a luggage stand, so it had to stay layed in the floor. Even though I asked , the hotel could not provide me with a luggage stand.

The hotel is to an excellent standard of finish and represents great value for money close to The City.

Convenient location for me. Would have liked more info about the restaurant - didn’t realise there was one, heavy reliance on using the tv for hotel info which isn’t my thing.

The restaurant is excellent—best Indian dinner ever! Breakfast had lots of choices, including Indian, which we enjoyed very much.

Lovely old building restored to a hotel. I stayed on a 3rd floor bedroom which was very nice / cosy & spotless.

Firstly, this is advertised as easily accessible from tube station, however a construction site currently turns a 5 min walk into a 20 min walk, through a not so pleasant area... This should be considered in the price! Secondly, our room was on the ground floor and the smell of the restaurant was unbearable (so much that we could not fall asleep). We informed the staff at reception and they were going to speak to the manager and get back to us, which never happened. It was also very noisy, as groups of people leaving the restaurant were hanging out in the lobby area after 10pm and the staff at reception didn't bother asking them to be quiet to consider other guests, or even close the lobby doors to reduce noise - my husband had to do it, which was very uncomfortable. This is definitely NOT 4-star accommodation, and the price should be reduced to manage expectations!

The room was lovely. The staff was friendly. The on-site restaurant was tasty! A bit out of the way but a quick walk to the station.
