Super friendly, helpful staff - everyone took pride in their work. Such a nice change from usual work travels. I had an issue with wifi and somone was in my room to sort it within 3 minutes! My Uber was delayed and someone brought me tea - in a takeout cup so I could take it with me if the car arrived before I was finished. The rooms are pristine clean and newly renovated while downstairs retains old world charm. Even the 'cosy double' room is big. I expected a glorified cupboard, I got lots of space, a comfy chair and coffee table and a desk and chair. Brilliant location with tons of great dining options nearby and a lovely lounge bar at reception. I felt very safe as a lone female traveller. Ask for the restaurant list and discount card at reception - I got 30% off a fabulous meal with a partner restaurant, others offer a free cocktail or glass of bubbly on arrival. Well done Team Rathbone - you have renewed my faith in Lonon hotels - I would definitely recommend and be back next time. Nothing!

Location is excellent. Close to all the attractions of central London. Hotel reception was nice but seemed a little dated.

Great location, staff above and beyond expectations. Safe area. Super comfy bed, like sleeping on a cloud, towels were the best ever in a hotel. Had to ask for a fridge in the room; barely room for my suitcase!

The room was immaculate with a brand new bathroom. I couldn’t fault it. Nice pillows and slept well. The staff were so accommodating as we were travelling from Yorkshire for a midday event so they checked us in super early allowing us to get to our room and freshen up at 10:30 - I’ll definitely visit again as it was in a lovely area I’d never visited before. Room was very nice and spacious with classy furnishings. Expected amenities were present. Bed was quite comfortable, allowing good rest. Very good location in the Fitzrovia area, lots of dining, coffee shops and pubs nearby. Less than 10 minute walk to the Goodge St. and Tottenham Court Road stations. Pleasant arrival at the front desk. Luggage storage available for my early arrival. Quaint and relaxing lobby waiting area near the front desk. Would be happy to consider staying at The Rathbone Fitzrovia again but hope it would be in better working order given the room rate charge. Need for maintenance (lift not working properly: makes stops on unrequested floors, out of order for a long period in one day requiring all guests to use stairs). The water was out for a few hours on another occasion and internet service was regularly unstable throughout my four night stay. Shower with weak water pressure but not a major problem.

Convenient location. Very nice hotel. Excellent helpful and friendly staff. We have stayed here many times over the years They should have put air conditioning in the bedroom of the suite not just in the lounge when they refurbished. Luckily we were given a fan which really helped. We stayed during one of the heatwaves
