The location can't be beat! A short walk to Buckingham Palace; several pubs and restaurants in the area; easy walk to the hop-on, hop-off bus stop. We loved the area! The room was fully updated, with a decent shower and built-in charging ports. The room, while modern, was simple to the point of being spartan: No drawers, no wardrobe, no storage in the bathroom. Fortunately, we only stayed two nights, so living out of packing cubes wasn't a huge issue. Check-in is at a different property, about a block-and-a-half away, so you have to walk on the street with your luggage. Lastly, be aware that there are two floors above street level, and one below, which are only accessed via a narrow spiral staircase; there is no lift. Carrying luggage up these stairs was a bit of a challenge for us seniors. In the end, I would stay again, if for a short stay, but would request a ground floor room.

The carpet is very old.

Located near a subway. Within walking distance of restaurants, Buckingham and Big Ben. A 15-20 minute walk gets you to most everything you want to see. The neighborhood was quiet. You have to walk to a different hotel a couple blocks away to get the key. Dragging luggage back and forth around the neighborhood isn’t ideal.

Shower was good Close to Victoria station. Some lovely restaurants in close proximity Room was clean Safe in room No reception, you have to walk to another hotel to get your key. No soundproofing from outside or inside. Very noisy from outside traffic, people walking by etc. inside I could hear the room above me very clearly talking (even though they were not being loud and just talking normally) and the room across the hallway from me was very loud, I had to knock at midnight and tell them as I was attempting to sleep with no avail. This was very anxiety provoking as a female on my own as I didn't know who was in the room or the response as I was going to get. Again issues with having no reception. The front door is very loud and bangs closed every time someone arrives or leaves and then the door to their room also did the same- this was continuous until 2am in the morning, needless to say I got 4 hours sleep. Floors creak, so every time someone goes up and down the stairs or the person above you walks around they creak loudly. Also occurred until 2am in the morning I tried to put the TV on to drown some of the noises out but kept losing the antenna signal every 3 minutes and then just lost it completely so no TV. Pillows very uncomfortable The aircon in the room didn't work and I couldn't open the window as homeless people were out the back looking for cigarette ends and felt vulnerable. Cracked and loose tiles on floor and cracked tiles on the wall in bathroom Noise stopped approximately 2am then started again at 06.45, creaking floors, conversations and slamming of doors. At this point I got up and vacated the hotel and paid additional to get an early train home. I have travelled for 11 years staying in various hotels, sometimes 5 times a week across the whole of the UK inclusive of London and this to date has to be the worst place I've ever stayed.. Incredibly expensive for what felt like a poor cheap designed and poorly maintained bedsit.

Great location! Cramped room.

Have to walk 5 to 10mins to get key

Convenient. Clean. No lift. No breakfast as advertised on Booking.com. I called them to admonish them about that!.

AC was not working, luckily the weather was in our favor

The venue and the check in are several blocks from one another. Their website was not helpful and they did not give a physical address. There are several Eaton facilities that show up on WAZE. It was challenging to find. I didn't like that the check in and rooms were several blocks from each other. I did not like staying in a basement. The person above us walked around till about 1 a.m. which was shocking as there was very little room to walk. There was no office to call and get help, we just had to wait to sleep until they settled down.

The location was absolutely perfect, a plethora of restaurant choices, walking distance to so many major highlights and easy access to the underground trains, buses, rail services, theatres and so much more.

Great location, close to Victoria Station No place to sit except a pouf to sit on in the room, very small room, and the electricity went out if you used the kettle

No breakfast included. Good location. The bathroom had a half-empty roll of toilet paper that ran out after the first use. No toilet paper until the second day. The AC would shut off at night and stop cooling for a while. It also had an intermittent sound sound that kept you awake.

Staff at both the Eaton and The Beverly was very nice and helpful. I would recommend. Great location as well. Clean and comfortable

The location was excellent. The room was clean and well attended to. The beds were very comfortable. The air conditioning was a welcome relief from the heat. The rooms were very small, without much room for luggage. The Eaton House had check-in at a different hotel. But, this was advertised when we booked it. So we were not surprised. It was just a bit inconvenient.
