Excellent! Small kitchen hut no one seems to cook these days….

  • Engine customer Aug 2026

Ok location, nice building, nice reception area, 10/10 sitting/living area with paid coffee machine. The kitchen is rather equipped but it is dreadfully small and narrow that two people can not pass each other. And non-AC, dark and saddening room

Great location and the building itself was very cool with a lot of history. Staff were friendly and informative. We stayed for one night to facilitate a concert at Wembley which it worked well for. The main bathrooms are mixed gender but there were female only available upstairs if this would be an issue. If you’re a regular hostel user, this would be a great one! Some small things to be aware of; it’s hard to sleep in the shared dorm in the early morning as the door slams shut (unavoidable) and we had a lot of movement going in and out of the room. The toilet cubicles are also very narrow which may be an issue if you are a larger person. It was a little tricky to work out the entry for parking as it is through a closed wooden looking gate and you need to use an intercom to be let in - it’s also an additional £10 per night to park which I didn’t see mentioned at time of booking.

Well run.Clean, comfortable, pretty good location. Definitely stay again. The kitchen is functional ,but too small. Better than nothing.

It's an easy walk to the station with a Tesco right around the corner and a good price. The bed was fine. The building itself is beautiful and the lounges are, too. You can rent a locker in the hallway, but the lockers under the beds are small and difficult to open. There's no patio/garden, so to escape the heat, people had to sit on the front steps and the single bench out there. Wish there was soap in the showers and the sink areas were small, so hard to get ready during busy times.

The bed and the toilots were very clean. People in the room were restpectful. It is definitely worth the money. even though there was a fan inside the room, it was warm inside, especially when you pull the curtain when you go to bed. it would be great if there was AC running for summer time

My favorite hostel! All the employees are so friendly and welcoming. Everything is always very clean. Such a wonderful atmosphere too. I’ve stayed here every time I’ve visited London and it feels like home now! Ruby and Tom especially were very kind and helpful!!

The staff, most of them, at least, were understanding. I liked visiting the kitchen area, it has a breathtaking atmosphere. One of the porters staff members at reception, appeared to be quite vindictive. All in all, it was an excellent experience.

    The requirement for Air conditioning.

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

The peace of mind.. The staff were excellent. Beautiful environment. Air-conditioning could possibly be installed, as well as chairs provided so patrons don't have to set outside about the building. The kitchen could probably be wider, perhaps another placement. All in all, it was top-notch ?

I loved the location, the people and the atmosphere. It was sufficiently clean but a but hot and stuffy in the basement dorms.

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

Peace of mind. Fabulous location, the staff, top notch, gave wonderful service. The atmosphere was very friendly.

Fantastic location for public transit to locations I wanted to go. Unexpected fun activities in the basement pub helped me meet others. Semi private beds with curtains. Common spaces and bathrooms kept clean. Breakfast option. Area to store food. 24 hour reception. Tiny kitchen was hard to.use. Cant't reserve a bottom bunk ahead of time. Under bed lockable storage has to be pulled out half way to get into. Very noisy lock system, easily slams down. Curtain around bed not by window so lots of light got in.

Large converted manor house with old wood feel. Working elevators (but steps up to the front on the outside), soft, clean towels and linens, kettle and tea/coffee in our private room, Trash and recycling ♻️ spots everywhere. 2 Large washers and 2 dryers with detergent included. Very large lobby with comfy chairs, soafs, and stools at a bar for working. Lots of showers and toilets available, although we had a private room with en suite bathroom. Mostly very clean. (We did find some leftover clothes and lots of dust bunnies way under the bed.) The location is close to 2 stations and several bus stops. The neighborhood has lots of places to get groceries or sit and have a coffee. The kitchen is very small but sufficient with two large fridges. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The mattresses are VERY firm. And the Twin bed private rooms were VERY small, like can’t open a suitcase with anyone else innthe room small. The bathrooms are airplane tiny. And they were bunk beds, which we knew when we booked. But they were quite hard to climb into and out of (the opening at the top being very small.) I will say our group is early 50’s. So maybe if your birthday year begins with a 19, go for the double beds instead of bunk beds.

The linen wasn’t clean as showed in the picture but it’s been changed when reported to reception
