Sofa in living area had lots of stains on it.

The room was very spacious, it didn't feel like a hotel at all. It truly felt like it was my very own London flat. Very clean. Had all the amenities I needed. Cozy. Great view from my room. Perfect. n/a

Room Only 1 elevator was working during my entire 9-day stay

The location was convenient. It wasn't obvious at first because it was on a busy street, but once you get your bearings you realize there's lots to see - including Spitalfields being very closeby which was a bonus. (a) The Kitchen - I booked an apartment hotel specifically because I like to have a kitchen for convenience and some basic food preparation. But the kitchen lacked very basic amenities. There's no basic coffee maker, the cooking implements didn't really make sense, it's like the implements probably made sense at one point, but over time, things started to go missing and degraded and they never replaced it. (b) The Elevator, they only had one elevator while the other was broken for the 8 days I was there; some people who had stayed longer were also grumbling that it had also been broken for the week prior to that. I guess this resulted in long wait times to get a ride.

Door sound isolation, two nights somebody went in and out of their room on our floor for an hour, heard every door shut and lift bell..

The coffee / cafe staff needed more help, they were lovely but breakfast time was super stressful for them
-
Easy in / easy out. Quiet. Bit of road noise. Slightly off the beaten track but very near to tube station which is good
-
very clean , new , modern, quiet.. the bed wasn’t super comfortable but that’s the only thing I could say.

“The housekeeping was extremely unprofessional and irresponsible. Coffee and tea were not replenished, toilet paper was insufficient, and the room was neither vacuumed nor mopped. Apart from making the bed, it appeared that nothing else had been done. Hair on the floor was clearly visible. This is the most irresponsible hotel housekeeping I have ever experienced.

I loved the views from the rooms up on higher floors (stayed on the 21st). It was spectacular especially for the fireworks on NYE. You couldn't see the big display, but it was just as cool to see all the little displays dotting the horizon. I also loved the size and comfort level of the room, it was incredible! Fully stocked and plenty of room. It was also so close to the tube and within walking distance to so many other great places as well (Spitalfield's Market, Brick Lane, etc.) The bed was a little bit uncomfortable, but not too bad! Could have used some lotion in the bathroom amenities (just attached soap, shampoo and conditioner), but again, otherwise it was such a wonderful stay!

Firstly I loved the location of the property, very convenient to the City, Tower Hill, Shoreditch etc. The Aldgate East Tube station was just across the street which made it so convenient to travel around London. The room truly took my breath away and felt like a cozy and modern home away from home. I had a room on the 16th floor which had great views and solitude. The room had all the amenities i needed for a comfortable stay it felt like my own studio apartment. The entrance could have been a little more conspicuous, It is to the back of a coffee shop. however i eventually came to like the semi hidden reception area away from the main street.

As soon as you walk in, the hotel smells amazing. Ryan was very helpful and friendly. The location is great, with a bus and train station nearby and very good connections. The coffee downstairs is excellent, and the staff were also very nice. I am not sure if this is written somewhere, but I stayed there for 5 nights and the apartment was not cleaned during my stay. I had the do not disturb sign on for the first 2 days and did not ask at reception, so I am not sure if cleaning is included. However, the apartment had a washing machine and a dishwasher, so it was manageable.

There are no opening windows in the suite for some fresh air.

Nice to have the coffee shop in the building and a shared workspace. Lots of places and restaurants within walking distance It was tidy however the bathroom could have used more attention when it was cleaned

Nothing We were unable to stay in the room longer than ten minutes. There was visible mold and water staining on the couch and across the bathroom ceiling. Given what we saw immediately, I can only imagine what additional issues we would have found had we stayed longer. For health reasons, this was not a space we could remain in, and even without that, the condition of the room was far below what anyone should be paying $300 a night for. On arrival, staff also mentioned they keep the entrance doors locked due to frequent “troublemakers” accessing the building, which did not add to a sense of comfort. Unfortunately, both the property and Booking.com declined to offer a refund for any of the four nights, despite the room being uninhabitable on arrival and us leaving and notifying Booking.com within hours. We had to find alternative accommodation late on a busy Friday night in London. I hope this helps future travelers make an informed decision.

I was in London for work and Leman was just the best location. It’s busy but quiet. Coffee shop was great too especially the sandwiches. Tuna was my favorite. Keycard kept deactivating. I also wish I didn’t have to go downstairs to ask for a clean towel, shower gel and toilet roll. Be good for them to come up every 3-4 days to restock supplies even when rooms don’t need to be cleaned.

Clean facilities with everything that you may require on your travels There is no complimentary turn down or cleaning service. I stayed for a week but never had the room cleaned

An excellent apartment-hotel option in London. Leman Locke is in a good location, a 2-minute walk from the Aldgate East underground station and also close to several bus stops. The space is large and has everything you need for a longer stay in London. The coffee shop downstairs is an added bonus! The couch is pretty small for 2 people and not the most comfortable, but overall that's such a tiny thing!
