Room was very nice. The restaurant is excellent. We enjoyed daily breakfast and one fine dinner. The staff was amazing. Shifaz was outstanding and attended with enthusiasm with every request. As a boutique hotel, it gives you a very old school fine club feeling.

Ambience of the hotel Attentiveness of the staff We loved everything about the hotel.

Staff were very helpful and we were greeted with a glass of champagne on check-in. The hotel is 5 star but has no doorman so on entry into a narrow hallway it’s not obvious where to find reception. There is no signage and you either have to wander around or wait for a staff member to approach you and point you in the right direction. The space internally is extremely restricted. The reception seems to double as an extension to the small bar and restaurant areas. This means that the spaces lack identity and the ambience of all spaces does not work as a consequence. There is certainly no communal area that compares to the type of 5 star hotels we have used locally previously.

If you’re looking for a luxurious getaway that seamlessly blends elegance, pet-friendliness, and top-notch entertainment, L’oscar is a must-visit. One of the highlights for us is that L’oscar warmly welcomes pets. From the moment you step into the lobby, you’ll find the staff accommodating to both you and your furry companion(s). The hotel truly dazzles on New Year’s Eve! Their spectacular show creates an unforgettable experience to ring in the new year. Highly recommended! The only downside was that the room was overly bright during the night.

Great property, very clean, beautiful and location the best. Can't think of anything.

Great location. Very helpful staff. Super facilities. Service charge each day added for room and then additionally for the hotel? This only became apparent when the Invoice was produced at check out. Then it seemed a little ‘mean’ to ask for it to be taken off. I just wasn’t expecting it to be added/charged. It adds up to quite a lot on what is already a fairly expensive hotel room. It took the shine off was was a great stay. Final moan! The hotel bar shuts at 10.30!!! You needed to buy a drink next door in Sainsbury’s if you wanted a night cap.

Fabulous location and only a short walk to everything. Derelict building next door - it was fine and hidden from the entrance but did take away from the prestige of the property

Being a small boutique hotel, the staff had plenty of time for you, from getting out of the taxi, we were greeted, cases removed. The guy at the front desk Yabor, was friendly, helpful actually made it feel like we were very welcome. The people at the bar were all very nice. The room was clean, comfortable and large enough with a powerful walk in rain shower. The bar stools were not comfy, small backs to them. The alternative was to sit away from the bar in a little room. I prefer to be in the bar.
