I initially stayed two nights in a single room, which was comfortable and well equipped though not spacious. I then moved into a double room that was more spacious and with a window that opened and a nice view of the square. Both rooms had pod coffee machines and a bottle of clean water (both much appreciated) and decent-sized bathrooms. The breakfast was very satisfactory and the reception, housekeeping and restaurant staff were uniformly courteous and helpful. a very agreeable experience. In the single room, the window did not open. However, the air-conditioning unit ensured that the air in the room stayed fresh. The light directly outside my room stayed on all night but it did not disturb me.

The cleanliness, the location and the friendly staff. Unfortunately I could not make it to breakfast because I had to leave to the airport. The room was nice but getting the luggage to the 3rd floor was a bit of a hike. The room was also quite small so I would only recommend it to some travelling alone or for a couple spending almost all the time outside.

The staff are very kind and helpful when needed. Room is clean and nice and the location with the lovely gardens in front and close to King's Cross and also plenty of restaurants and shops and walking distance into town is perfect.

Just great with fantastic staff. Nothing lift but this isn’t a negative because they accommodated us on the ground floor.

Proximity to transport. Quiet neighbourhood.Lot of eateries and a laundry nearby. Excellent breakfast and helpful staff. Reception staff was always helpful and friendly and booked us a taxi to airport. Highly recommend that taxi service. We were glad that we could stay for extra hours till 1 pm with for 20 £. Good value for money. Room was a bit cramped with 3 of us. But we had a lot of luggage , we managed and it wasn't a big issue.

Based on the reviews I've read here I had very low expectations however I have only positive experience with staying in this hotel. Maybe the rooms are different and we were just lucky but ours was very nice with high ceilings and individually adjustable airco which is amazing and pretty rare. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location and area was perfect and it was amazing to get this accommodation in London in summertime for only about 120 pounds.

Great location, lovely staff and nice rooms. This was my second stay here and was glad to see the quality has not changed. Hope I can come back soon! Not a deal breaker but a mini fridge in the room would've been awesome.

The air conditioned room Didn’t like the thin walls hearing people singing and dancing in the room above us!!! Slamming of corridor doors. The Chinese family staring and laughing at us!! So decided not to stay for breakfast the next morning. We literally got up at 6am so not to see them again. Large long black hairs all over the room floor and on towels!! Poor dispensers on the shower gel bottles!!

Clean & accessible to train station. The family above us were very, very noisy. We had an early start also to catch Eurostar.
