Holiday Inn Club Vacations Oak 'n Spruce Resort

Oak’n’Spruce is a lovely resort in a wonderful area of the Berkshires. Very nice amenities, along with pools, tennis, mini golf, ping pong and other family activities. Best of all, it’s a short drive to the charming town of Stockbridge, a short drive to Tanglewood, and another short drive to Jacob’s pillow, a wonderful indoor and outdoor dance performance venue. We stay there often, and always makes four a cultural experience and wonderful family time.

Lovely setting. Comfortable and well equipped townhouse. We are not much for the pool or mini golf type “activities” but we like the location near biking, hiking, theater and dance venues. And the ability to have meals in instead of using restaurants every meal. Looks like a great place for family vacations.

All resort staff were extra special friendly and accommodating. We were visiting friends in Lee, so had little time to participate in Oak n Spruce's programs. Definitely will return and stay longer!

We had to have housecleaning to clean a few things before we brought our luggage in. When my husband put on an overhead fan in the bedroom, all kinds of clumps of dust came down from the fan onto the bed and bureau. There was also about a 1/4' of dust on the fan vent in the living room and a clump of chocolate cake on the outside of the refrigerator! Otherwise, the place was clean.

The facilities were excellent for family time!

spotless. had a full kitchen, parking outside, comfortable bed, two bathrooms, plenty of hot water, mini golf pool was crowded, no lap lanes,

The price was reasonable. It was very quiet and well maintained. There was a lot for kids to do -- swimming pool and movies. We would go there again.

Cons: NOT a smoke-free hotel as listed. Balconies or patios all have tables with ashtrays to welcome smokers outside - allowing your neighbor’s smoke to easily find its way to your unit. The property and rooms are somewhat run down and not well constructed for sound. We could hear everything happening in the units around us, including one person snoring all night. There is a need to improve the cleaning routine - the wooden shades were loaded with dust, tubs weren’t washed out, etc.

Always a great place to stay.

We stayed in the handicapped suite and it was well equipped. I just have one suggestion, have a rubber mat in the shower. The floor was slippery.

The facilities have everything you need for a good holiday The furtniture and facilities were old, but they were super well maintained.

My wife and i went up to the area for a family wedding. we decided to stay at this hotel/resort - boy were we surprised on how nice it was. Everything from the check in process to the check out, things went very well. we stopped by the activities center on our second day and boy there were a lot of things to do with your kids. the indoor pool, the outdoor pool and other places were very nice and well maintained. We were happy with our room as well. We were upgraded to a two level villa - wow was that a lot of space. we had a full kitchen with a full fridge. we were very happy with that. Overall, we loved this resort and are looking forward going back next time we are in the area. I highly recommend this resort to all. Thank you for a great weekend.

The location was a bit off the beaten track but the facility was nice and the room was large and very clean. They started sawing trees or something at 7:30 AM close outside my room. Seemed a bit early for a vacation location The checkin experience was a bit strange.

Very happy to use the hot tub and cool off in the pool. I wish the windows in the room coud open and I wish there was a more reasonably priced cafe. Very good stay.
