The recently renovated 5-star Hotel Pod Różą is housed in a Renaissance palace in Kraków's Old Town, just off the Main Market Square. It features elegant restaurant and stylish, air-conditioned rooms. Pod Różą is the oldest hotel in Kraków and hosted many famous guests since the 17th century. The rooms at Pod Różą are traditionally decorated and come with a luxurious bathroom with heated floors and Italian fittings. All have free internet and an LCD TV with satellite channels. Wellness & Spa access is included in the room price. A continental breakfast is served every morning at the hotel restaurant, Pod Różą, which specializes in traditional Polish dishes. The staff was absolutely wonderful! Always ready to help and always trying their best. Pleasant, agreeable, and jovial. Couldn't wish for a better staff than the one you currently have within the facility The rooms were not that isolated, but that wasn´t a real issue as its quite peacful at night. The way to the bathroom from the pool is quite extensive, but oh well thats just a leg training then, so it wasnt really a bother

Night noise. The hotel's location--Florianska--very near the center of town, is a conduit for drunken, all-night partiers. By "all-night" I mean until about 4 a.m. in the morning. I was a guest the third week of June. After great difficulty sleeping the first night, the hotel agreed to switch me to the 3rd floor, side street (Tomasza). The second night, unfortunately, the hotel's fire alarm went off at 3 in the morning. Elevators were disabled so I had to walk down to the front desk to learn there was no fire, only a problem with the alarm system, then trudge back up the stairs, waiting for the alarm to stop (about an hour). The third night the noise from the drunken street partiers was almost as bad as the first night, despite being on Tomasz and one flight more distant from the street.

The staff made all the difference and their friendliness helped me during a really dark time. Thank you! The spa is beautiful, but some pipes were leaking (steam room) and there is no way of safely accessing the cold plunge. There was also some sand on the floor there.

Beautiful hotel in a heart of Krakow Stare Miasto. Very convenient location, elegant modern decor , fabulously high ceilings. Deliciously fresh breakfasts and truly amazing restaurant menu. Walking distance to all of the Kraków main attraction. Would love to come back... Great shower, but did not drain properly

Beautifully restored, spacious, clean facilities and room; ideally situated, staff universally warm and very helpful. We did not try the restaurant but found the breakfast buffet/ a-la-carte met our dietary proclivities. Street noise disruptive after hours, especially as part of stay over the weekend

Beautiful modern and minimalist style. The staff was extremely nice, helpful, well-mannered and courteous. I loved my room and all the bells and whistles. Centrally located. My room was super noisy, but I was a corner room facing the loud street. I probably could’ve asked to be moved, but I didn’t feel like it and I really loved my room. But… it was super loud and loud til very late. I wore ear plugs and was fine for the most part. I would suggest for them to double pane the windows, we have that in America and it’s not that expensive to do and can install easily from the inside.

Perfect location in the old town, with a view of the cathedral from our room and easy walk to the train station. Definitely took advantage of the spa access that was included with the room and loved the unique facilities. Appreciated the Nespresso machine in the room. Beds were comfortable and the room was very spacious. Stayed over a weekend but didn’t have any problem with noise from the street reaching the room. Would also highly recommend having lunch at the hotel restaurant and getting the tasting menu, which was delicious and a good value for what you get. There were a couple of design flaws in the bathroom in our room, namely the location and orientation of the toilet paper holder (super awkward and inconvenient) and the toilet seat and lid combo, which didn’t seem to actually fit the toilet and thus was continually shifting and sliding (loudly) whenever being used - really annoying.

Great location. Spa sauna excellent, if you're agile. Toilet seat loose, attempts to fix it failed.

The Spa was amazing, small but so well made, it was really a pleasure. Given that the breakfast was around 25€ per person it was a little less than i would have expected from it.
