The location of the property is excellent. It’s just a 10–15 minute walk to the Old Town and right beside the Jewish Quarter, making it easy to explore the city’s main attractions. The surrounding neighborhood feels much more local than the tourist center and has plenty of authentic restaurants to choose from. The breakfast offered a good variety of options and was a great way to start each morning. The hotel also offered to arrange tours for us, which was a nice convenience, although we chose to book our own excursions instead. We found the staff to be quite reserved. We were rarely greeted when entering or leaving the hotel, and we weren’t offered any recommendations about the local area or nearby restaurants. That said, one of the housekeeping staff was especially warm and friendly, and we always appreciated seeing her. The hotel doesn’t offer many amenities, but that’s understandable given that it’s housed in such a historic building. We weren’t expecting features like a gym or spa, so this wasn’t a major drawback.

Lovely room, very comfortable bed and a nice warm shower. Great location close to all major attractions. The breakfast wasn't very appetizing
-
Great price and friendly staff Merge breakfast. Location is out of the old town.
-
Great central location. Easy access and nearby parking.

Great breakfast, good location, good access to tram and train, close to old city and Jewish Quarter, big, clean rooms, everything you want, have to ask for a kettle if you want to make yourself a cuppa, but they provided it, all good. Good value for money, SAFE FOR SOLO FEMALE TRAVELLERS, I would go back again, thank you, I enjoyed my stay. nothing

Recomand Columbus hotel

The location, cleanliness and Staff are very good! The bed was not big and comfortable enough, it was great if they could provide water or a kettle in the room.

Location is key when travelling without a vehicle / was perfect for everything. The noise on the street was a bit loud but only when windows open.
-
From my point of view, it was a good experience, everything was done well. I will choose it again and again.

In a three bed in a room. One of the beds was not a proper bed and too small.

Amazing location. A bit noisy with the trams, but that was good & bad. Because, it was so central you could walk or tram to all the main attractions. Beautiful rooms, clean, had a magical view of the Wawel castle, first 3 nights. I Stayed four nights. Staff were friendly, helpful and went out of their way. Excellent breakfast, water bottles provided every day. Kettle available, if you asked. ? My only criticism, was my pick up fare ?, but it was Easter Sunday. Caught an uber today, back to airport. One third of the price. So, I highly recommend the Columbus hotel. Safe, clean, excellent facilities, 24 hour reception, luggage storage, beautiful gardens, rooms were spacious, showers clean and daily room service, if needed. Situated in the old city centre...perfect. Thank you again Katie G From Australia ?? ?? As above..just a little noisy with the tram stop right outside.

We arrived late at night, around 1:30 a.m. However, the receptionist was at the reception (was not sleeping, as sometimes happens in hotels) and checked us in immediately without unnecessary formalities. The room was cool, we did not find the remote control for the air conditioner, we called the reception (it was already 2 a.m.), they immediately found the remote control for us. Then my son injured his leg, and we again contacted the reception with a request for antiseptic - it was also quickly brought. In the morning there was a good breakfast - a great choice. The salads pleased. Warmer blankets could be provided. And the air conditioner remote control could be in the room from the start.

The only downside was no tea/coffee making facilities.
