Red roof inn has just remodeled all of the second floor because it will soon turn to a marriott. We woke up in the morning with little ants everywhere and they were crawling out of the wall by the air conditioner. The toilet did not work but not flush right or the water would not come back up we are quickly. The TV had no value and did not work. I tried to call the front desk and the phone didn't work. Also we were never told and it was never on the site that they were renovating and the whole first floor was tore up. We ended up leaving and we are supposed to be refunded for the next night we were going to stay. I have not seen it yet. We've stayed in this hotel many times and have never had these problems but now that they say it's updated to be a Marriott in the room we had we had all those problems

It was awful and dirty

Got a screw in my tire from the renovations

Although the room was renovated, there was still drywall, dust along the baseboards and especially in every corner. I don’t know why they couldn’t have put a tall rack by the sink for a hand towel to dry your hands while they were doing the renovation. They make no effort to clean up the floors and people have to walk through a construction area at times to get to the elevator. The pillows were really horrible, the sheet on my bed was stained so I’m glad I brought sheets with me. There was a very particular odor that I can’t quite articulate, but it was not a pleasant odor. The gentleman that was at the desk to check us and told us we were getting an Marriott room at a red roof price. I laughed inside when I heard that because I know they would never have an I laughed inside when I heard that because I know they would never have a room that would be remotely even like the Marriott rooms. Overall, they have a lot of work to do to get me to come back there.

I am very disappointed with my stay. I was not informed in advance that the hotel was undergoing construction. The constant noise made it impossible to sleep, and there was dust in the air that caused nasal irritation and difficulty breathing. Had I known about the construction, I would have chosen another hotel. I believe guests should be notified ahead about major renovations. I would appreciate an appropriate resolution, including compensation or a refund for the inconvenience and health concerns caused during my stay.

We were in one of the newly renovated rooms and it was very nice . The night staff who checked us in was super friendly.
-
Staff responded quickly when we reported the shower head was clogged. The room was clean. Bed was fine. Outside entrances were dirty. Especially, the back entrance. Wish there was a breakfast offering. The place is being converted into a Marriott and I doubt they will worry about much upkeep.

The place was going thru renovations. But it was quiet and staff was friendly
-
Location in proximity to the event I attended The batteries on my door lock died at 4am which meant if I left my room I had to wedge the door open. Not safe at all. The entire place smelled like weed and aerosol spray. It was kinda gross.

The staff here was beyond friendly made it feel a little like visiting family. Recently renovated so it’s modern and incredibly comfortable.

The bed was not comfortable but otherwise it was good A better bed

When we stayed before there was no cost for our 2 little dogs but this time we had to pay for one of them . No breakfast at your hotel No soaps in the shower thank goodness I brought my own

I was not a fan of house keeping knocking on the door at 9:30am when checkout was at 11am. I asked them at tbe front desk when leaving what time checkout was he said 11am. I asked why the hell housekeeping was knocking on my door at 9:30am? He acted as if I were lying. I will never stay here again.
