VILLA MATILDA luxury B&B

The location is excellent and very convenient for exploring Ischia. There is free parking available along the road right in front of the property, which was a big advantage. The breakfast was good and offered enough variety to start the day. The hosts were exceptionally welcoming, friendly, and genuinely cared about their guests. The bed was very comfortable, and we had a great night’s sleep. The inner courtyard is beautiful, peaceful, and well maintained. We definitely made the right choice by staying here. There was nothing significant that affected our stay.

We felt incredibly comfortable at Matilda. It's close to the port of arrival, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The villa is lovely, everything is impeccably clean, and the breakfast is very complete and delicious. I would definitely return.

Staff friendly and helpful. The bus No. 5 is minutes away from the apartment. Leilo was always ready to answer our questions about going around the island.

The hosts were wonderful. Very helpful, super accommodating, but not in-your-face about it. Perfect.

Great budget friendly option in Ischia. Bathroom is great. Room furniture is a bit dated but not bad by any means. Didn't find an iron but they may have it, I just didn't ask. AC was a bit weak coming from the US. Breakfast was surprisingly good.

The property is located a short distance from Ischia Port and in a quiet location. There is a small market and a pizza restaurant very close. It is also a short walk to the bus stop. The host was amazing, the beds comfortable.

Very kind staff, excellent breakfast, and good transport connections — the bus stop is just a 1-minute walk away. The only issue was a slight sewage smell in the bathroom, but it wasn't too bad.

Friendly and very helpful owners, comfortable rooms, breakfast served on a green terrace + great choice. Perfect location, it is close to everything but it is quiet. We very much enjoyed our stay there. Thank you!

Everything is great!!

Everything was great at this place. Really nice room, excellent value for money. Breakfast was continental breakfast. So meats/cheeses (fresh Croissants were excellent) freshly made coffee also. Clean large rooms (ours had balconey which was nice) Was just a few KM away from the main areas but not much of an issue. We got tuktuk from the ferry terminal on arrival (15e) and just walked into the main areas. Staff was really helpful also.

Everything was perfect. The proprietor was nice and helpful, Villa is situated not far from the sea and all the restaurants, the room was cozy and clean, equipped with everything we needed. Breakfast was various and delicious.

Great service. Breakfast was really nice, savory items too. Eggs prepared for your wish. Laura was extremely helpful, very gentle, attentive person. Explained everything about traffic, sightseeing etc. Coming again to Ischia we will definitely choose your guest house again. Great place to stay. Everything was ok.

The hosts were very nice and welcoming. They gave us good addresses for food. The property is also close to the center of ischia (20min walk). The rooms were very clean and included all amenities (even tooth brushes, which we no longer see even in hotels)

The room was amazing, it was comfortable clean and modern with all amenities we couldn’t have asked for more. There was complimentary water, toothbrushes, shampoo, razors etc. which added to the luxury. There was an optional cleaning service with towel replacements each day. The hosts are great they collected us from the port and accommodated our every need including keeping our bags after checkout. The walk to the town was 10/15 mins which was ideal and 20 to the beach which was very manageable. We would recommend for anyone to stay here

Everything was perfect

Lovely, modern accommodation with comfortable bed, large bathroom with deluxe shower and all amenities provided. Mini fridge, air conditioning, TV and private balcony. B&B hosts were exceptionally helpful with check in and even arranged a rental car for us and brought it to the villa. Breakfast was excellent with fresh espresso & cappuccino made to order. A wide selection of pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals & juices. Lovely patio as well. We had no complaints.

Loved the quick access it had to the main road, beach, and restaurants. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and the room was beautiful and had a beautiful view of the area. The hosts go above and beyond. N/A
