Shared spaces like the lounge and kitchen/dining areas promoted social interaction. Nice to see people of all ages at the hostel. Great to have a place to cook and keep food in the fridge. We appreciated having a spacious private room with a sink for our family. Great to have free parking. It was a bit far for walking to the downtown area.

The staff was really helpfull, the kitchen was big and fully equipped, the room was ok

The electrical connections were old style and limited in the rooms. The location was not close to the center and needed walking uphill and far.

    It is very costly.

The dorm room had six beds but only four lockers, which felt like an oversight. Fortunately, I didn't bring many valuables, but it would have been nice if every guest had access to a locker. The person who checked me in later was very professional. However, when I arrived earlier to store my luggage, a different staff member simply pointed me toward the luggage room and responded to my questions with one-word answers, which came across as rather unwelcoming.

We liked everything! The kitchen facilities are AMAZING, there is lots of room to visit outside of your room. It felt safe and was spotless. They even provided towels! Our only regret was not staying longer. 100% recommend ?? N/A

i like it's a twin, ensuite room with big windows. it's clean & tidy. Facilities like toilets, kitchen, social areas are sufficient. it's a little far from city centre on foot but it's acceptable.

Incredible value in a very clean and well kept property. Superb friendly staff Mediocre breakfast. A bit out of the way, but still walkable to downtown

I had a great time here. My room only fit six people which is ideal for solo travelers. The kitchen was spacious and well stocked. The front desk was nice and helpful. The room had minimal outlets for chargers

Really well setup hostel located right in the heart of Glencoe. It has the best drying room! Stayed in a 3 bed room and it was very comfortable. The beds could have been a bit more comfortable. The showers seemed to flood when used.

Conveniently located, good value, great cause. The staff is outstanding and the facilities super clean. We stayed at a triple bedroom with shower and it was outstanding. I didn’t find anything bad at this property

The cafeteria was a good size

Had a private room. Clean comfortable and quiet. A bit of a walk into town.

Near Inverness train station. Location in a quiet neighbourhood. Booked a room with a private bathroom. Good water pressure in the shower. Very comfortable beds. Simple good breakfast for an extra cost. A bit of a hill to get to the location but worth it.

Would be helpful if the reception and laundry etc were available more hours.

It was not a far walk from the town centre and it was located in a very quiet area. Also, the staff were super friendly even when my key card didn’t work the first night. I also liked how there was always someone on the reception desk should there be an issue. The only thing I didn’t like is how they didn’t assign beds like most hostels do. When I arrived, the only beds available were the top bunks. As someone who is on the plus side and afraid of heights, I wasn’t sure how I was going to manage and if the bed would hold my weight. I was pleasantly surprised that it would hold my weight which this could also be a positive thing about the property.

only spent one night here but the staff was friendly and everything was very clean, including the showers. Exactly what you would expect from a hostel in the UK!

    Very accommodating Nothing

  • Engine customer May 2026

The price I understand that the room wasn't expensive; however, one of the beds didn't have a light, there was no space to charge cell phones, there was only one electrical outlet for a room of six people, and there were only four lockers. Also, it doesn't make sense to leave a group of women in front of the men's bathroom. Isn't there any way to take that into account when dividing the rooms? Furthermore, when the staff was asked for directions, they responded with "check on Google."
