Pearl Beach Homestay

Really nice homestay. Lovely family, who helped us on all our steps. . It is near to everywhere, to the beach, to the river and if you have a bicycle, also to the beautiful diwntown. . -

Received a lovely fresh cooked breakfast each morning . Lunch and dinner available as well. Very comfortable bed with good ac and good facilities in the room. You can rent a motorbike here at a fair price. Get around town or ride the High Van Pass. Five minute walk to the beach ⛱️ walk to shops, restaurants cafes. Great location. Very happy ?

I stayed at the homestay a few years ago so was happy to book again. It's under new ownership but the new family are just as friendly. Mr Lam arranged transfers from the airport and had the AC running in the room so it was nice and cool when I arrived. The room was comfortable, Wifi worked well, and the location is great. It's in a peaceful area, 15 minutes by grab taxi to the old town or An Bang beach and 2 minutes walk to Cua Dai beach. The homestay has pushbikes available, and Mr Lam was able to recommend a great place to rent a motorbike at reasonable prices. The room wasn't cleaned during my stay. It was a short stay so I didn't need new bedding or towels, but bins were not emptied.

1. distance to the sea We had expected to see much better than we saw on Booking.com. Apartment #203 1. It's absolutely dirty and unclean room which was not prepared for occupancy (we've made some videos and photos upon arrival) 2. The dust is all around in the room (furniture, windows, wardrobe) 3. Uncomfortable pillows, dirty curtains, not fresh towels and linens 4. It's very poor breakfast and I wouldn't say it was tasty. 5. Absolutely dirty bathroom with an uncleaned ventilation system. 6. The only one shelf in the bathroom wasn’t fixed good and it was unsafety. 7. The hygienic shower leaks and creates a permanent puddle on the floor 8. There are a lot of places with mold on the walls and ceiling - it's really unhealthy 9. All the furniture is really old. 10. Uncleaned and noisy fridge in the room. As a result: -we had to go to some shopping mall, buy some cleaners and clean the whole room, - we had to buy new pillows as well, - from time to time we visited other place for breakfast. Also there was no electricity for almost a whole day and we were living without air conditioning (it was the temperature of +36 and almost 100% humidity). And a strange requirement of the owner - to turn off the air conditioner "so that it rests" In fact, we are really disappointed. Besides that, we bought some food and with the owner was agreed to keep it in his fridge, but in the morning we were surprised that our drinking yogurt was missing. We voiced all these shortcomings to the owner, but we did not hear anything intelligible in his answer. We've stayed to different Homestays with price up to 25 USD/night, but this one is one of the worst. We won't be back again and we don't recommend it! The price and service of Pearl Beach Homestay don't match the quality!

The family was lovely ? Really appreciate my journey! For me it is an 11/10, I absolutely recommend this homestay!!!! Nothing it was an amazing journey at this homestay, hardly recommend!!!

Exceptional

really comfy beds, such a good price, less than a minute walk away from the beach and very easy and cheap to get taxi in to town. Also has the loveliest owners Lam and his wife who helped with absolutely everything, stay here!! wish we had time to stay longer than 5 days!

Such lovely staff, big clean rooms and comfortable beds. Overall, very good stay and great value for your money! About a 10 minute grab ride from the centre but you are close to the beach and in a calm nice neighbourhood

Nice homestay and friendly host. We enjoyed the time there and felt comfortable. Host prepaired bikes for us and our son. Clean rooms and good breakfast. We loved the beach nearby. Not crowded in low season. The recommended snorkeling tour to cham Island was not worth the money.

Wonderful host, delicious hearty breakfast, great beach Ants in the room, a window with a view at the wall of the neighboring building, but we only slept in the room, I would like the toothbrush cups and glasses to be washed more thoroughly
