Hoi An Osaka Riverside Villa & Spa

Couldn't use the pool as it wasn't maintained, the maintenance of the villa is poor, not clean, towels and linens are not fresh

The pool water is green and not so welcoming to swim in there. But the beach is close by so no problem. For that price everything was perfect!

I absolutely loved staying at Osaka ? I will definitely be back! The family is so warm and welcoming and works very hard everyday. It's beautiful to see how much love they are putting everyday into making the homestay beautiful and pleasant. The place is stunning and spotless clean. The rooms are absolutely gorgeous. With beautiful furniture, curtains and decoration. You can see and feel the love and attention in every detail. The location is just perfect. In the middle of the herbal gardens, which you can see from your balcony. It's near the beach, the rice fields and the town. The best location in Hoi An. It's quiet and peaceful. The swimming pool is also gorgeous. There are bicycles for use and the room has a fridge and kettle which is ideal. It was perfect for me staying here, especially because of the wonderful family ❤️ I wish I could have stayed more! Thank you ??

I highly recommend this hotel! It’s a cozy, family-run place with a homey vibe. The staff were super nice and helped with everything I needed. They were incredibly understanding about my sudden changes in plans and allowed me to shift my dates without any issues, which I really appreciate. The room was cute with a spectacular view!

We loved our stay at Osaka. The location in Vegetable Village is lovely and peaceful with amazing views. The room was spacious and clean; bathtub was a great plus especially on a rainy day. It is family owned and we were also treated like family. The host was extremely nice, welcoming and always happy to help. She upgraded us to a better room free of charge. The breakfast was delicious and she gave us more than what we asked for every time. We ended up booking an extra night because we felt so good there. Thank you Nga for such a lovely stay! Definitely recommend.

Very comfortable, host is extremely accommodating, very peaceful location. Loved the pool and balcony. Great pho and coffee near by (walking). More isolated if you do not drive a motorbike. Getting a grab was relatively easy, but may have some difficulties in the evening time depending on where you are coming from/going.

The place is beautiful. Tranquil, peaceful, staff was lovely. I really didn't like the water pressure in the shower. It trickled. The button was broken to turn from tap to shower. The toilet seat flap was broken. The Bath water pressure was bad and after bath that was barely half way filled up there was no water for second person to shower with warm water. Plus by the time the bath filled up the water was luke warm . It Didn't fill right up to cover body. Also the bath drain leaked. The sheets didn't smell nice. Whoever slept their before must have sweat a lot and probably not enough detergent was used or two washes should have been done on the sheets. My senses are extreme and I notice a lot more than the average person. It was very unpleasant for me. I had to sprits essential oils all over sheets and pillows because the smell was very disturbing for me. My mum couldn't smell it. The bikes we rented were a disaster. I went a hundred metres down the road to go into town and the front wheel was about to come off. My mother's handle bars went totally crooked when we got in town and it's was really stressful organising a taxi to get us back with the bikes.

It is our second stay after a first visit in 2017, the place is still as nice and relaxing as before. Large and bright bedroom, lovely host, yummy breakfast and great walks around.

I highly recommend this accommodation! We had a pleasant stay at Osaka Homestay. The tenant lady is a very generous and helpful person! The breakfast is more than generous and good, prepared by the family. Thank you again Chi oi for your help during our trip, see you next time!

Everything was wonderful. The family that owns/runs it were delightful. Being in the vegetable garden is relaxing and gorgeous. So nice to be away from the tourist scene in Hoi An or the beach. It attracts a nice group of travelers. Topping it off was the universally adored arrival of Mango, the new puppy, for a comforting bit of home. Had to say goodbye.

The place is family owned and run, and they are the sweetest people. My girlfriend (who speaks fluent Vietnamese) chatted with the family for literally hours. They were so warm and welcoming. Due to the time of year, were also the only guests at the hotel for the first two days of our stay. I love the place, but it's a little far from the rest of the "world" out there. It's beautiful outside on the balcony where you can watch the workers in the rice paddies, but it's quite a distance from the touristy part of the town. Also, Grab drivers are hesitant to drive up to the house due to the awkward roads leading up to it

Fantastic location next to the vegetable gardens, coffee shops, and restaurants, and walking distance to the beach. Nga is a lovely host. Overall a great experience. Some of the fixtures were broken (toilet seat and bathtub), but this was minor. I would’ve liked to have known about the breakfast option. I ate out not knowing the time or that there was a menu available, but I would’ve happily supported Nga and enjoyed eating at her home.

It is a lovely place with warm hearted people running it! The location is absolutely beautiful and we enjoyed our stay extremely. The family is very kind and helps anywhere they can. We couldn’t have wished for a better place to stay in Hoi An!
