Motel 6 Hayward, CA – Silicon Valley Gateway

This place is good and clean and in a reasonably walkable area (across from Target and some other strip malls - food available nearby). My one concern is that there wasn't a place for oversize vehicle parking. The staff was efficient. For the price it's better than 90% of competitors.

I would not have the security officer walk into your room while you’re trying to sleep. Without notification.

Nothing Everything

The floor inside my room was filthy. The bathroom door wouldn't shut. There was dog feces everywhere on the property, making it very difficult for me to take my two dogs out to go to the bathroom. I asked for 2 extra towels. So I could bathe my dogs.I was given one hand towel. I asked for a mop so I could mop my floor and I was given a rag the size of a hand towel.

People upstairs were awake all night long being hella loud, waking me up constantly!

Its a VERY low level Motel 6. Nuff said.

Was not allowed to check in and Expedia did not want to refund my money

My room had mold in it and it smelled like they put a lot of pinesol over the mold smell. The management is never there and they are the only ones who handles disputes.

It’s big and has gas station McDonalds and Dennys all next to it walking distance Pink Hair dye stains in the bath tub and on the tubs walls from the hair it looks like pink hair but it’s not it’s stains the hair was removed before I got this room they tried cleaning it but the dye isn’t coming out

Room was clean and the parking lot had lots of space The ice machines did not work around the rooms. So you had to go back to the main lobby to get ice.

The bed was almost like a stiff board, woke up in the middle of night to use the bathroom and there was roaches on the bathroom floor, it looked like blood on the walls, and there was cigarette burns on the floor, and last but not least the whole room smell like cigarettes.
