Pleasant

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The swimming pool, steam room and sauna are great and well cared for. Breakfast is decent too. Check in queue and processing was far too slow with no pre arrival check in offered. The bed was also uncomfortable and superior room felt very basic.

The hotel is grand and very well located with easy parking. The food is good, the spa was excellent and the staff were friendly. Nothing

Good location, nice pool spa area. Couple of things house keeping turned up at 9 20 am as we were just getting ready to go to the pool told them we’d be five mins so got our things together and when we left they were still on the corridor so I told them the room was free to be cleaned,both appeared uninterested and we left, I even said to my wife that the room won’t be cleaned when we get back, arrived back from gym/pool at 11 30 and it hadn’t been serviced. Room was never serviced again‍♂️ Also they do an offer on cocktails in the bar, don’t bother there very poor and I think I’ve had stronger wine gums

Room was spacious. Breakfast was excellent. Location was excellent. At age 73, both wife and I would have appreciated a ramp or porter to help with luggage on arrival. Room smelt of new paint. Whilst not bad enough to change room, I was surprised the room was sold in the condition it was. And it needed more painting.

The hotel was beautiful and the rooms were a very good size and well equipped with different toiletries. Staff were very friendly and saw to guests as quickly as they could during check in without making it feel rushed. The service at the hotel bar was amazing and they also had some great themed happy hour offers for cocktails. The spa facilities were fabulous and the outdoor hot tub was a really unique point, it was very nice sitting out there in the evening. As a gluten free person I was thrilled to receive a complimentary coeliac cookie upon arrival, it was such a lovely touch. The parking is quite expensive I feel for the quality of the car park, and the spa facilities are wonderful it is just such a shame that you are only allowed 1 hour per day.

Very nice welcome and lovely location well placed for an event

Historical building with a great location for walking into Harrogate. Due to the age of the property, there’s no aircon. Very little sleep was had with the higher temperatures we’ve had.

Location Room Very Tired & Way too HOT..... Had to ask 4 times to get a fan..... Not Good Enough !!!

Beautiful hotel staff very friendly made us feel very welcome. Shower fantastic and lovely toiletries Food in the restaurant excellent Breakfast a lot to choose from Fried breakfast could have been hotter Pillows far too soft couldn’t get comfortable at all Ended up folding towels to put in between the 2 pillows

Location is excellent only a 5 minute walk into town. It is a very quiet location with no outside noise disturbances. Room was basic but comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good and is served for a long time (closes at 11am). More basic information in the room. There is an app that you can log into to get information, but if you don’t have a smartphone or don’t want to log into an app, there is no hotel information available at all.
