Lovely, friendly staff, big comfortable room and nice bathroom. The early morning drilling and hammering.

Staff was awesome and check in was a breeze. Restaurant was not terrible, staff were also very good, food was okay but nothing to brag about. The only complaint I have is the smell of drain.. one has to shut the sink drain in order to cut down on the odor in the the drain and the fact that the water didn't drain adequately from the shower and it spilled onto the bathroom floor, which I'm sure also contributes to the moldy drain odor in the room.

It was very newly renovated. The staff was very friendly even though it was a tough working environment for them since Hamburg airport had closed and many people were coming at once. The sound isolation between the rooms was worse than I expected. I could hear people speaking in the next room well enough to identify the language.

The rooms are very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the area is quiet. It's a great place to rest and recharge (the hotel also has a fitness center and sauna). The staff is friendly and helpful.

No complaints stayed at a Leonardo before always good

Old carpets, if your room is on the street side- that is busy street with all noises from buses etc in the room. Bad noise isolation of windows. Out door of the room badly isolated, all noises from corridor are just like people near with you talking. Was a smell from the drainage. Overall they tried to wrap used hotel in the more- or less better cover. The price is too high for this kind of hotel.

Breakfast was excellent and very very varied. The breakfast staff were always very friendly and helpful, and the view from the restaurant out into the greenery was amazing and very relaxing to look at. This was a good hotel in general and set in beautiful surroundings with lots of green trees which were very relaxing to look at both from the room and from the restaurant. However you need a car to stay here as it is a few miles to the nearest small town . I took a taxi from the hotel to the town but then realized I didnt have a number of a taxi to get back and there were not many taxis in that area and it was only with help from some people around that I managed to get it back to the hotel,! Also I was unfortunately disturbed a lot on the first and second day of arrival by some very noisy chambermaids who slammed and banged everything when cleaning the room, which was not necessary. I was also disturbed by knockings which I couldn't work out came from and assumed that they probably came from the lift when it was going up and down but that was quite disturbing to my sleep. I usually have ear plugs with me and used them on the last night so had a better sleep then.

The room was clean and well-equipped. The breakfast was very good: plenty of options to choose from. The staff was helpful and friendly. It is a very decent place for a short stay. The location of the hotel is not particularly great when traveling by public transport. There is no direct connection to the city center or Hamburg Hbf. It requires at least one interchange. We ended up mostly using taxi. The neighborhood, although not bad, is not particularity well lit during darker periods of time.

Carpets could be cleaned or replaced. Otherwise everything was really nice.

The beds were really comfortable The location is a bit far from center, but very near to a bus station.

Everything was good but no shops nearby
-
The building is very old

Only one elevator was working and there was a waiting line every time we went up or down.
