Location and facilities

Breakfast was good Room was hot and smelled damp. There was no AC and no ventilation at all, except small exhaust vent in shower but considering the amount of moisture in toilet after shower even it wasn't working. Only way to change any air/make room any cooler was to keep the window open and considering the noisy surroundings, it prevented sleep. For some reason my room was not including breakfast. No one told this to us though when we checked in, when we visited the breakfast or even at check out. Hotel then later called me that I didn't pay and charged the credit card without my consent 29€/day/person for breakfast. There was no parking at all available. All spots were occupied. The only way to park was to leave the car 400m away to another hotel and it costs 25€/day. Good looking hotel but if you want a good night sleep, stay away.

It was clean and close to the metro station There was no air conditioning; opening the windows for fresh air was intolerable due to excessive noise, and the small windows made the space feel confining.

Location was very good. The room in the Tower building had no airconditioning and in July it was terribly hot even wormer than outside. You can not sleep with the window open as it opens over the railway and it is very noisy. Very unpleasant.

The location is perfect. This hotel is utterly unprepared for the new normal: hot summers in Northern Germany. The room was boiling hot. The staff made no effort, trying to accommodate me or compensate me in any other way. If you plan to book this hotel during the summer make sure you have free cancellation in case it is hot. The shower was so badly designed it was practically impossible not to flood the whole bathroom.

Wonderful building and old design with plenty maritime art. Delicious breakfast The room was very bare
-
Good location, excellent restaurant. No air conditioning. Bars were much smaller than appeared on photos.
-
It was very well located. All the staff were friendly and the rooms and hotel were clean It was very hot when we stayed and there was no air conditioning. We were given a fan.
-
Wonderful location, good facilities and full of historical interest. Our room rather small, though the view over the north Elbe and landing stages was fabulous.
-
Great location staff where super friendly, also so much character in the decor in the bar and restaurant. The power points in the rooms where terrible some didnt work well, but we managed and would still stay there next time
-
The room we had was spacious, comfortable and clean and suited us well. The staff were friendly, courteous and very obliging as well as considerate of the fact that we did not speak German.

Central location. A very clean bathroom and a quiet room in the hotel yard. No air conditioning available in a room, but a room located on the upper floor on the south side gets pretty warm if you don't keep the curtains shut during the day. No hot watter kettle to be able make tea on cold and rainy days.
