Smoking is terrible in public area including lift. Book for non smoking executive king room but was not available on the first day although had been booked 2 weeks in advanced. The system needs to be improved.

The room was not cleaned properly. The dustbins were not even cleaned and I had to ask more than once for toilet paper. The cleaners need to be spoken to, they can do a lot better.

The hotel is located in an interesting part of the city. Right outside, you experience a lively, simple everyday atmosphere, while just a 10-minute taxi ride away offers a premium, modern side of Guangzhou. It’s also close to a beautiful park — Guangzhou Public Culture Center — definitely worth a visit. The kindness and welcoming attitude of the staff are what truly make this hotel stand out and deserve the highest rating. For guests not accustomed to high humidity, a dehumidification option would be a valuable addition. The air conditioning, however, worked very effectively and kept the room comfortably cool. The photos may give the impression that the hotel is a standalone building on a large road, but in reality, it is well integrated into a lively urban setting. Stepping outside, you are immediately immersed in the everyday rhythm of the city. Despite this, our room was quiet and provided a peaceful stay.

When u arrive at the hotel you'll be disappointed. Real life facade doesn't look like the pictures. Lobby is quite okay. But the rooms and corridors, well done! Exceeded my expectations. Breakfast too, not bad at all. Two coffee machines, quite a good variety (although the bread section underwhelming). Staff quite good as well. Overall great value this place. Wow, not a nice neighborhood. Really grassroot. It's safe, surely, but not inviting to go for a walk. Visited the GZ fair. Is 4.6km from the hotel but with traffic jam took 25 minutes to get there with the free shuttle bus. If within 30 minutes from GZ fair better go north of the river, to the actual center of GZ (e.g. Tianhe). Having said that this hotel was good value.

It is a small but cozy hotel, all the staff are very friendly and they are always available. It has a 24-hour front desk and is very useful. The spaces for smokers and non-smokers are separate but apparently the other guests are not interested in that. Maybe a little more control in the Non-smoking apartments.
