the Savv hotel and its friendly staff exceeded my expectations. The friendliness and the nice atmosphere helped me to feel at home quit quickly. My solo room with a 'ship's window' was very comfortable and had everything i needed. Good bathroom as well. The pool was small but lovely. Breakfast basic and a great start of the day. The porter at the entrance was so friendly, as were the reception lady and the 'breakfast' lady and the cleaner of the pool. the only thing that can make this small cosy and professional hotel better for me is a lounge with a small menu.

- Hotel is super clean and spotless with a lovely modern atmosphere. All the amenities I needed were provided and the staff were always around to answer questions or help me. The filtered water was another huge bonus. - Staff kindly upgraded my room when I asked if there was a room with better noise insulation which I greatly appreciated. - The rooms have very thin walls. The cabin rooms are facing the busy highway, so you can hear lots of traffic and motor bikes throughout the night which made for a sleepless night even with earplugs. After I switched rooms it was greatly improved, but I could still hear the guests next door and heard one guest even shout "Shut the fuck up" which was a little alarming (I don't believe they said it to me, because I had not spoken and just returned to the room). The poor noise insulation is probably my only complaint.

Near the ferry so mostly easy to get there. Great view over the water & jetties. Easy to walk to Clan Jetty and the tourist areas and food. Really liked that the hotel has filtered water. Room was comfortable and the room & bathroom were huge. Friendly security guard at the front. Hotel is on a bus street so crossing can be difficult.

Staff and hotel were fantastic, well worth paying the extra for a premier room unbelievable views, May, a staff member went out of her way to find me a Pomelo, Thank you so much May Nothing

The location is good, staff is good, room was big and they fixed the AC quickly when it wasn’t working. There was a strong smell in the room. We had to get used to it.

Perfect for a solo traveler. I stayed two nights and couldn't be happier with my experience. The staff were so friendly, one even offered to loan me money when I said I hadn't gotten the chance to exchange money and the banks were closed. They were also very helpful with planning activities and all the major historic sights of penang are within walking distance. The rooms were also really clean and comfortable, and all the tap water was filtered (which was a really nice touch). Nothing in particular.

Noise came from neighbors even til 12am. Obviously hear the guest next to you talk just like they were in your room. Not recommend for those who wants to sleep like a baby.

Staying at hotel Savv really made my week long Penang trip a wonderful experience! Having my cabin room upgraded to a deluxe double room was a pleasant surprise to kick off my vacation :)The location of the hotel was fabulous with the core area of George town being at walking distance from it. The close proximity to the clan jetties made for beautiful sunrise and sunset views from the property. Special mention to the staff - Angel, Vishan,Syukur, Ms.May & the security gaurds who were polite, friendly snd very helpful :) I enjoyed the breakfast served here, the addition of one local dish every morning was great! Ms.May (Breakfast in charge) actually arranged for kaya jam for me with my toast when I had mentioned to her that I really like kaya toast. She was also very sweet to pack breakfast to take with me to the airport on the last day of stay as I had an early check out. The hotel being very close to the bus terminus and ferry terminal was also a huge plus. The pool and breakfast area with a lot of greenery was lovely too. The pool was a bit small, but that didn't deter me from using it especially on those really hot days :D -

Staff were the best. - Angel - Rectption - at time of check out assisted in finding last minure transportation to the airport when our planned transport canceled. Prem - Securitry.. Was always smiing and helped whenever we asked. - Misha - Reception - at check in - provided some valuable suggestions. - May - at the buffet breakfast - served with a warm smile

The pool is only waist deep, but sufficient for just floating around.

Great hotel. Super friendly staff, clean, walking distance from the ferry and from downtown attractions. I will certainly be back when in town! Nothing - it was great!

Everything was perfect. Great location, comfortable room, and friendly and accommodating staff.

Very nice hotel in a fantastic location just right across the street from the Chew jetty and within walking distance of everything you want to do in Georgetown. Our room was large, clean with comfortable beds and an absolutely amazing view over the water. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful responsive staff, great location, and well maintained. Staying at the Savv really made our trip to Penang a wonderful experience. Really hope we can stay there again.
