Great location, but no parking facilities. Small refurbished comfortable hotel- no frills. Narrow steep stairs - only 2 rooms on ground level. Same basic no frills breakfast every morning. Don’t come expecting more No parking Same basic no frill breakfast everyday

Wonderful atmospheric hotel, very clean and walking distance to all the popular attractions in Georgetown. Surrounded by many restaurants and shops. Lovely Peranakan decor. Very helpful staff and nice, hot breakfast. Suitable for guests without cars as there is no parking space. I shared with the staff that there needs to be better ventilation in the toilets as there was a bad smell.

Colonial style hotel with decent facilities and a beautiful room including complementary breakfast. The hotel is ideally located if you like to hang out in Georgetown. The TV did not offer international channels, the breakfast repeats itself for three days and the coffee is not as good as you expect as a western traveler.

The location is good , close to food street . The towels and sheets were not clean , even the cups and plates in the restaurant has stains . WiFi in the room doesn’t work .

The rooms were clean. The staff was extremely helpful. The environment is great, it has a homely feel. The location is awesome for Georgetown visitors. Lots of cafes nearby.

A quaint heritage hotel that’s positioned well in the center of Geroge Town. I was able to visit all sites in the Heritage City by foot within 5-10 minutes. I also like the room details and how the areas are kept tidy. - Breakfast is reallly a let down. I hope they’re able to offer Room Only rates as breakfast is skippable. Nothing special and is the same every day. So be mindful if you plan to stay for long. - The bed is too firm for my liking. - Minimal soundproofing in rooms. I can hear the clanging of cutleries of the breakfast goers despite being on the second floor.

Lovely hotel - the room was spacious with a closet, desk and a couple of chairs. Very clean and comfortable. Great shower! The staff were friendly and helpful. Loved the historic building. Great location for walking around Penang. Massage place across the street was also good. The breakfast wasn't much - fruit would be a great addition. I would suggest reserving without breakfast as there are many cafe's near by offering very nice breakfasts.

This is where you want to stay in Penang; the kind of boutique hotel that is a part of the history and culture of George Town. A great spot to start walking from with lots of great food options around but still quiet enough for a good night’s sleep. Breakfast starting at 8am was too late for me. Also I could not do my early morning runs because the door was still locked at 5am.
