Hampton Inn Gatlinburg

We have stayed here the last 4 yrs, the staff is friendly and we enjoy the bear activity nearby only complaint is beds are to soft for my liking

The hotel is nice, in a good location. The pool was in good shape and nice. We’re locals that go up and stay in gatlinburg a couple times a year. First time staying here. Three things that sucked about this hotel. One, you have to pay for daily parking. Which makes NO sense. The parking lot is on their property. Two, the bed was awful. I’m not sure if it’s every room or just ours, but it was the bounciest mattress ever. It reminded me of a waterbed. When someone else in the bed moves, it bounces the other person so bad. And three, we asked the housekeeping guy if we could have a couple more pillows because the 4 that were in there were extremely flat. He said no we could not get anymore. Seemed weird. I don’t think we’ll stay here again, and stay at our usual place.

Friendly staff, well stocked breakfast, the hot tub was relaxing.

When we got there we were informed there was a $15.00 a day charge for parking in their parking lot. I have never had to pay for parking at a motel. So that was another $45.00 charge. The balcony was dirty with spider webs all over it. I will not be staying there again. There are much cheaper motels that do not charge for parking in their lot and have clean balconies.

Although the property is quite dated. The staff was nice and helpful. The breakfast was good and our family had a memorable stay.

Great location and great staff!

Wonderful staff. Free breakfast. Great location to walk the strip. Only issue, seems to happen a lot lately. Leave 10am, come back at 4, no house keeping. Had to get fresh towels from lobby. All I want from place is dump garbage and fresh towels. I dumper own trash

Loved the stay close to everything. Staff so friendly and helpful. Didn’t eat breakfast but the people that recommended loved the breakfast. Great walk in shower. Comfortable clean bedding. Highly recommend

Showers were the most narrow I've ever been in. I'm 6'3" and a semi-fit 240.. There's a boatload of people wider than me and i can't imagine they would fit.

Good location on the parkway. Easy walking distance to all the businesses and right next to the national park entrance roads. There was a bear that wandered the hotel grounds, which our family found neat, but obviously there is a need for caution.

Clean room. Staff was great. Stayed with a dog and went well. The location is perfect.

Loved the patio off the room, very comfortable beds and great breakfast.

Loved the location. However, the hot tub and pool needs alot of TLC.

The rooms were clean but could have used a little dusting in places.The breakfast was great very convenient. The staff was extremely helpful and a pleasure to meet. I would definitely recommend and plan to book with them again.

Air conditioning wasn’t working properly. There were air gaps from under the doors where the weather stripping should have been. I had to pay 75.00 for bring my Chihuahua to a pet friendly hotel and also I had to pay $15 a day for parking fee. I’ve never had to do that before and they didn’t disclose this information when I paid for my room in advance on the Internet booking site
