This was a several day family trip. The hotel was super convenient to everything in Gatlinburg. We were able to walk to all the attractions in the area, including Ripley’s Aquarium and Anakeesta. The room was clean and comfortable. The front desk staff member who checked us in for the stay was very helpful. The parking under the building is made more for smaller vehicles, but it was great to be able to have the our car within covered parking.

great location for visiting Gatlinburg since it is very centrally located just off the main drag so its a relatively easy walk to either end of the main shopping and dining areas. The hotel itself looks pretty new, lobby is clean and inviting, parking is divided into 2 areas (out front of lobby and first floor, and then on the lower level that is below the hotel itself). Our room was a king suite and it was showing some definite signs of wear and tear which honestly surprised me since the staff told me the hotel was just a couple years old. Carpet was worn in several areas of my room, nightstand on the window side of the bed was missing and appeared to have been broken off of it's mount and then the shower had alot of visible mildew in the shower pan. I would rate the room a 5 out of 10. We didn't even try the breakfast at the hotel since there are so many great options that are unique to the Gatlinburg area so I cannot comment on that at all. We were only staying for two nights so it was not even worth complaining about the shower although that was the biggest shock; not even sure how a shower even looks like that when you have staff cleaning it on what should be a regular basis; we put a towel down and made sure to stand on that while using the shower. While I will continue to stay at Comfort Suites in the future, this location would probably not be a location I would use or recommend.

The property & location was fantastic. The building was new but unfortunately our room was terrible. The whole shower floor and around the caulking in the shower was covered in mold. We asked for daily housekeeping, but the mold stayed in the shower throughout our whole trip.. water pressure in the sink in the shower was beyond reasonable. It was so bad I could not even wash my hair throughout our whole trip.. it’s such a shame because the building and the staff & properly met all of our expectations

This hotel is very nice. We had one of the nicest hotel room we have ever stayed in. It was a two room suite. Very nice. I would highly recommend this hotel snd will definitely come back.

Very good location, clean rooms and good breakfast!
-
The parking lot is excruciatingly small. But the staff is great! Normal hotel things. Nothing fancy, just a place for business people to stay whilst in town for work. Or families for a vacation to the area.

Carpets at the floors need to be cleaned it gives a bad impression.

The only improvement that I could recommend is the design of the room was very focused on just the appearance; there were almost zero options for any kind of storage. The bedroom had only 2 night stands with one very small drawer each and no dresser or any other place to unpack the luggage. When I am staying for 5 nights I like to unpack my suit case and not have to live out of it for 5 days but it was impossible here. Only one small open bar to hang about 6 pieces of clothing on in the main space. The small dorm fridge had the microwave on top of it and basically no place to put any food items, cups, etc. The bathroom was nice but it appeared there had been a remodel that switched the door swing so you have to go into the bathroom and shut the door before you could turn on the lights. All in all, I would stay again and just adjust for the shortcomings of the room. Very quiet also!

Great Hotel & Very Helpful & Kind Staff!

Breakfast was good. Not the biggest selection, but it did the trick. There’s a today’s flavor of waffles that changes every day. One day it was cinnamon, one day it was blueberry. There’s also a standard waffle flavor. My kids were not fans of the standard flavor. There’s also cereal, yogurt, and different types of bread. The biscuits were delicious and you could add sausage gravy, which was also delicious. There were eggs every day and some type of sausage (could be links or patties). I personally was not a fan of the sausage, however, my son seemed to not mind it. There’s also coffee and other hot beverages and lemon water throughout the day. During breakfast hours there’s juice. Overall we would stay again.

The room are a very nice size. I traveled with my sons who are preteens and we had enough room not to feel like we were on top of each other. A bit of a let down was the laundry sheets had hair on them. We got new sheets to change the bed and set up the sofa only for two more rounds to have hair. That was a hummer. Also, the pool was ice cold for two days. Many family abandoned swimming and we had to as well for fear of getting to cold. We let the staff know but it took two days for someone to get the heater activator. Other than that, the staff was nice with the breakfast hours and answering questions, they were even nice about alerting someone to heat the pool. It just took two days. We had small weevils near the tub. Harmless, so we were cool. After the first day we did not see them. I would stay there again actually. It’s near a lot of food places and the trolley system. Breakfast is waffles, eggs, sausage, biscuits with gravy and things like that. Also fruit and yogurt. Having two flavors for the waffles was a nice touch. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate available all day. Friendly staff was such a treat that we forgave the cold pool, however, wanted to let future travelers know to inquire about it being heated.
