Super 8 by Wyndham Downtown Gatlinburg at Convention Center

Was not a comfortable stay. Bed was not great, the room smelled very musty. And there was absolutely no ventilation or air vent in the bathroom so it was very very hot in there! The air conditioner did OK I would say this is OK place to stay for one night, but will not stay here again for more than that.

Average place but close to everything.

Staff helpful , lot of free hotel parking , room is neat & clean all over it’s good hotel & near the downtown it’s walking distance

The room was typical super 8. Pull out couch was dirty with used clothes and crumbs in it and under it. Did not let my child sleep on it before covering it up. Location is great. Husband being chased from dumpster at night by a bear was a 10 out of 10 for laughs. Husband stated 1 out of 10 would not recommend lol. It is cool to see bears up close though.

I reserved for 2 rooms(we are 7) but they're not able to place us adjacent to each other. The room is basic good thing it's not carpet. 2 incidents of bear encounter but we're not scared kinda thrilled to see as long as we're far. Not a big space for breakfast so you tend to grab & eat in the room. Location not far but it's not along downtown.

A little bit smelly - not as clean - but ok -

We like Gatlinburg because of the history that used to be called White Oaks Flats. We love the history of the ogles and we love the mountains because they are the oldest mountains in the world. Vacation to the lasted a month instead of a week

Bed bugs. Quite big. The management promised to investigate and get back to me in 3 days. After that, I just got generic 'will respond shortly' replies instead of actual investigation results.

While running the shower, water backed up in the tub. Although, I can recall very few hotels where the water didn’t back up in the tub.

It was close to the strip and quiet. I did not care for the breakfast. Couldn’t find a coffee cup.

Pee smell maybe pet odor, lighting over the window awful choice, didn’t sleep well the 3 nights we were there.bedskirt need to be replaced is dirty room 225

We enjoyed staying there and loved our room that looked like the inside of a log cabin. The breakfast was huge and delicious. The staff was very helpful. I would definitely come back here and stay the next time we’re in Gatlin.

I did like that the property was “near” the strip and the foothills of the mountains The property was semi-neglected ,needs some tlc and updating in the rooms

Very small rooms. Continental breakfast area not clean. Receptionist not familiarized with the motel. The good: Very close to downtown Gatlinburg. 0.4 mile from downtown. Very economical to stay there. The room was clean.

Easy access to different stores, restaurants, quiet, staff was great, saw quite a few bears, walkable to everything. When we got into our room the air was kinda damp, it smells mildew, my husband found a sock next to our bed, there was quite a few hair on the floor and bath tub(had to clean it myself)

Everything. The room was an absolute mess. I booked a pet friendly room and the second we walked in, there was a horrible smell. We tried to clean and get rid of the smell because it was unbearable, but nothing worked. There was pet hair all over the floor. I went to the lobby to complain and ask for an explanation, when the manager said to me "You asked for a pet friendly room, it's going to smell bad." I have stayed in many pet friendly hotels in my life. None of them have smelt bad, have had pet hair stuck to the floor, or have I been treated that way. We had to end up leaving and finding a different hotel on that same day. I do not recommend this establishment to anyone, you will end up disappointed.
