Hotel Odysseus is located in the perfect spot, in Chora and close to everything but at a quiet corner such that you can enjoy yourself and relax while overlooking the magnificent Aegean Sea. The rooms are renovated and are very clean. Each rooms has an outdoor patio that is I personally enjoyed very much. The host Mrs Penelope is very kind and helpful. I would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone who is looking to visit this beautiful island!

Very nice hotel with excellent view.
-
negatives: no beach towels provided, vibe felt a bit mechanical/transactional as opposed to "is there anything else we can do?" vibe sometimes found in Greece. not a deal breaker.

The location and the quality of service / decoration

Great location as it is placed in Chora. It is built next to the cliff and it offers a breathtaking pool view to the Aegean sea. Clean rooms and very friendly and helpful service. What else to ask? Also the price was good enough to convince us to book it!

The location of this place is absolutely perfect, offering a breathtaking panoramic view of the Aegean Sea. The staff here are incredibly friendly and always willing to answer any questions we had, making our stay even more enjoyable. The rooms are spotless—bravo to all the hardworking cleaning ladies who keep everything in top shape. Highly recommended!

Everything!

Great location inside the Chora, close to restaurants and shops. Beautiful view over the water. Nice porch to sit in the morning or evening. We would have appreciated some kitchenware to make breakfast in the room (there were no bowls, plates, forks, spoons or knives). Need to walk from parking area (about 8 mins), so keep that in mind if you are bringing much luggage.

Easy comunication with hotel before arrival. Clean room, good air-con. Friendly staffs. Nice view. Nothing

Located 100 yards from the centre of the picture-postcard town of Chora the hotel was quiet and immaculate. From the pool you can enjoy sea views and watch the sunset over the island. Folegandros itself is a very chic island, everywhere immaculate, friendly and great value. Thank you also for the free transfer from and to the port. Due to high winds we had to stay an extra day, I can’t think of a better place to be marooned! Nothing

Crisis management was poor! Our door wouldn't open and a staff member rushed to put the blame either on us or the cleaning lady, we weren't offered anything to drink or somewhere to stay and wait, even though we were just back from a sunny beach and the entire process took at least one hour. After we managed to access the room three staff members just got in there (from the window) without our permission or excusing themselves, and then they were trying to convince us that it is ok to lock again and just leave a window open just in case.. which in my opinion is absolutely absurd! I assume it is a matter of perception of people and situations but I strongly recommend to be more considerate next time or at least offer some sort of reimbursement.
