Hotel Polikandia

Polikandia is a traditional family-owned business/hotel that cannot be surpassed. The location is on point. You're conveniently located within walking distance to the Chora and all the main attractions. If you have a rental you're minutes away from all the beaches or main destinations. The hotel is very charismatic & impeccably taken care of. Clean, every detail thought out, breakfast filling and delicious, & service is top-notch. Dimitri at the front desk can be most helpful & has every answer to all your questions. Yianni the owner is always at your disposal as is his manager Dimitri. If you are traveling to Folegandros this is the hotel to stay at!

The property was centrally located within walking distance to all the restaurants, shops and banks. Also the swimming pool and breakfast were amazing. There was nothing that we did not like about the property

This has been the nicest, cutest and most romantic property I have ever visited and I travel quite a bit. Every detail is taken care, the breakfast I recommend highly you include it, it is very fulfilling and a great Greek way to start the day! Dimitri is a great host as well as the rest of the family, he took care of clean and dry towels in our car every day and even a beach umbrella. We felt at home! I am thinking to return soon for a month! Folegandros is a unique and hidden Gem, you shouldn’t miss it! Everything was just perfect! 100% rating!

LOCATION was perfect. Literally 50 steps to the town center. Don't have breakfast in the hotel - go down the street for the best local breakfast and FRESH orange juice. Have any of their "toasts" or just fresh fruit. Coffee was great. Pool was beautiful. We had two bathrooms in the room - which was nice - but not necessary. Great AC. Easy ferry from Athens and the hotel was very helpful in transfers to and from the port. You can rent a car if you want but you don't need one. There are more luxurious options on the island - but this one has it all! Very clean, well appointed and easy. We did a beach tour (4 hours/50 euro/person) well worth it and got to experience the beaches, views and the island from the water. The overall decor of the hotel is a bit dated - but that doesn't change the experience....we didn't spend much time in the room anyway. Beaches ARE NOT close to the hotel....but the boat beach tour is DEF worth it.

We had a wonderful stay at the Polikandia and in Folegandros! Dimitris and staff were so friendly, nice and helpful throughout our stay! The hotel is in a great location for exploring Chora and hiking to the Panagia church. The room was spacious and the shared areas including the pool were so beautiful and relaxing. We'd be happy to stay here again!

I can’t say enough about how wonderful our stay was! The location was perfect, the staff were incredibly kind, and the pool with its beautiful view of the church was absolutely stunning. They went above and beyond by arranging rides for us to and from the port, and even surprised us with a room upgrade. It was our first visit, but definitely not our last—we’re already planning our next trip back! N/A

It is a beautiful property in a very convenient location. The bed was a little hard for our liking but they immediately remedied it with a soft topper.

Had a fantastic experience at Polikandia Hotel. It's a few minutes walk from all the restaurants in the Chora, and really close to the bus stop that takes you to the port and Ano Meria. The room has a spectacular view of the Church of the Virgin Mary, and the little balcony is surrounded by incredible bougainvillea. The pool is sparking and a great way to cool off after a long day out (even after going to the beach). The staff at the hotel are incredibly accommodating.
