The breakfast was fresh and plentiful. It would be nice to know what rooms have zero view. My window view was of a wall and windows into other rooms, so I couldn't keep the blinds open. The blinds blocked ALL of the air conditioning. I had to pull off the wood cover of the AC unit and stuff the blinds into it to keep the wood off the blowing air and stuffing the blinds between the wood and the AC unit allowed air to actually go into the room instead of just into the window space. I took pictures of what I needed to do to stay cool. The towels did the job but they were either old or cheap because they were all frayed. The shower drain was missing the grate that covered it (like two feet of an open ugly drain). In general the room was just so small, no TV (I like it for sound and local news), no view. I choose the hotel because of it's location on the river. I was coming off a BUSY work trip also in Florence and I had a few days to myself. I guess if I was looking forward to unwinding in a nice hotel, I should have paid for that. You get what you pay for. The hotel is ideally located, in a quiet environment and close from the city center. Beds were comfy and rooms very clean. The breakfast offers a wide range of choices, and there is a nice rooftop where you can have your coffee :) The staff was also extremely nice and helpful.

Wonderful hotel in a beautiful location overlooking the river. Quiet setting but an easy stroll into the centre. Gorgeous room, very comfy bed, good shower a lovely breakfast and wonderful helpful staff. We couldn’t have wished for a more perfect place to stay. Nothing

Lovely staff: Giampalo was extremely helpful and friendly! I could hear everything in the room beside mine: I had an early morning, and they had a very late night so ended up only getting roughly 2 hrs sleep

Nicely decorated rooms, good breakfast The hotel is on the last floor of the building, no lobby on the first floor. Valet service drives your car 7 km away from hotel for parking m, this is quite surprising. Expensive.
