The room was lovely, comfortable and all of the extras were very nice. Quick check-in and comfy bed. Nothing stood out.

Located near city center. Clean facilities. Helpful, friendly staff. Very good breakfast. Minor issues. No refrigerator in room. Couldn’t find ice machine, if there was one. Shower head would not stay in one position.

Great value! Rooms were very comfortable, clean, and the staff were extremely professional and courteous, and the breakfast was also very good. Location is a an advantage. Esslingen is a charming town, well situated near Stuttgart. We enjoyed the Cannstatter Volksfest in Stuttgart - the hotel is within easy walking distance to the train station and less than 15 minute train ride to the stop adjacent to the festival grounds. Only part of our stay I did not care for was the lack of parking space at the hotel. However, this was not a major detractor. You can unload at the hotel entrance and there is a public parking garage a few hundred meters from the hotel at the Küferstrasse/Altstadt location. Parking is not expensive.

The hotel offers an excellent location, allowing access to all the important attractions, at a very reasonable price because it is not luxurious. The room we received was exceptionally spacious, extremely clean, and had basic furniture that was well-maintained and actually met all our needs and beyond. The staff was very courteous and helpful, and the breakfast was rich, delicious, served with care, in a pleasant atmosphere - you absolutely must not miss it.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ The parking is nearby, not at the hotel, and costs 15€ per day

Bed wasn't comfortable, the mattress was too soft and thin. It was very hot, no AC, there was a small fan.

Excellent breakfast with a daily variety of many healthy and delicious choices. Calm atmosphere, kind hosts. Hotel is in walking distance to city center. Enjoyed my room viewing the canal. Everything was great!

The dining room has a wonderful view, as in its over a canal. Breakfast had a plethora of choices and started at 6 AM.

Great location and close proximity to the city. Breakfast was delicious and everything was very fresh. Staff was friendly and helpful. The interior is sterile and the room was lacking any warmth. It felt more like a hospital room.

Breakfast was very good Free parking is limited to 6 spaces on the street and the locals use them also. So you have to walk a few blocks and park in parking garage. Also very warm, and if windows are open for cooling the room the street noise from university students can be loud, which means interrupted sleep

The hotel is located just outside the main downtown shopping area. It is an easy walk to get to the Christmas markets and public transportation.
