Ruins B&B

I can't really think of anything that I didn't like.

It was OK didn’t look like the picture at all, but still was clean but very very small if you’re planning to visit ruins you can stay there but if you’re planning to go out to other cities stay somewhere else.

Location to Herculeum and good restaurant across the street “Pappamonte” Party of 3 —reserved 2 double rooms as couldn’t accommodate 3 people in one room. Both rooms were identical. Upon arrival charged $15 additionally for my husband staying in my double room because he wasn’t listed on booking. None of booking.com reservations has required names of guests individually

Rooms were disgusting, beds were atrocious. And the views were depressing.

Being right across the street from the ruins was really convenient. The staff was helpful and mostly spoke at least some English. When I arrived in the morning, I was able to leave my luggage and go out to the ruins until my room was ready in the afternoon. I had a little terrace surrounded by potted plants, which I enjoyed. The walls between the guest rooms are thin, so I heard my neighbors and the sound of the entry door unlocking.

Great location directly across from the entrance to the archeological park. Staff very helpful and efficient. Good value. Great breakfast. Used their taxi service back to Naples Centrale to get train, very efficient and clean taxi service. Pillows were very thin and I needed 3 of the 4!

Location was good, very near the Herculaneum. It's quite a long walk from the train station.

Cross street from the ruins. Private parking for 10 euros. Good breakfast. Very friendly staff.

colano The staff were so helpful about answering all my questions prior to arrival. They arranged our transport from the airport. They were helpful with restaurants. The breakfast was amazing. I highly recommend this wonderful hotel. There is nothing negative to say.

Very hard to find the entrance! Kinda crazy. Finding the front door. We had to go up some unsigned stairs and open a back door of the restaurant and then go down to the lobby. The lobby door is locked.

Just a bit of a trudge to the room, otherwise nothing wrong at all

Breakfast was good, location was excellent (right across the street from Herculaneum, but parking is an issue. Had to pay 14 Euros to park 300 meters from the hotel. Parking situation!

The bed was a little firm, but that's a personal preference.

Fantastic location just across the road from entrance to Herculaneum, and 10 minutes walk along one straight road to trains for Pompeii and Vesuvius Express for a visit to the crater.

Clean, great location to the ruins The beds were very, very firm. If you stay in the BnB part some doors lock which is a bit confusing. Although not the property’s issue, Ercolano seems to have pet waste on the walkways, a lot.

Excellent breakfast, amazing and helpful hotel employees. The bed was really hard and uncomofortable.

Best possible location for visiting Herculaneum, staff were excellent - couldn't be better service Couldn't get the shower water hot enough for me, but was still adequate.
