The location is absolutely lovely, the rooms are spacious with a big balcony. There's an indoor and outdoor pool, a beautiful terrace to sit and have breakfast, drinks or dinner with a view of Echternach. Although the furniture of the place is quite old and not modern, it's a lovely place, quite large with lots of extras such as billard table, spa and bar. Really nice facilities. I didn't like the fact that we had to pay extra for using the pool for an hour on the day of our departure. 25 Euros per person didn't seem adequate for guests who just spent quite some money there. I understand that day guests have to pay 25 Euros for using the pool but with people who just spent the night I would hope for a discount.

Excellent location, with an easy walk into Echternach. Free local busses. Desk staff were 'very' helpful and friendly. We upgraded the room to one of the best and it was very good. The air con worked very well and was better than all our other stays in Luxembourg during the 2026 heatwave. Free car parking on site, we had no issues finding a space. Very comfy bed. Free pastries in a basket near reception. Beautiful view from our balcony. Our initially booked room did not have air-con. Also it was described as having a garden view but really it just overlooked the car park. The room we moved to was very expensive at 280 euros per night without breakfast, it was huge but didn't really have the finishing touches you would expect of a room at this level. No coffee machine, only one sachet of coffee each with the kettle and paper cups! The shower was a rain shower in a cubical far too small for it, there was no stepping away from it, it was a permanent full on deluge. The bathroom was huge and the space could have been utilised much better. Housekeeping was of a low standard with used items being left behind, towels were taken and not replaced and beds not made. Not all of the rooms lakeside actually have a view of the lake, we were shown a few and picked the one we liked most. The swimming pool has decking all around and twice I got splinters in my feet.

Wellness facilities are nice, many options, indoor and outdoor pool. We made reservations for diner, arrived 19:30, drinks ok but got gin tonic in plastic glasses. Food options where limited but said to be fresh… salad was ok, beef tataki also ok but very small portion. We had to ask multiple times for another drink. Main course didn’t show up, again asked multiple times. Main course arrived at 22:30! The canneloni was overkooked. I have never had such a bad experience.

the room was a good size. The restaurant was not able to receive 5 heads for dinner, even the restaurant was 10% used. We have been redirected to the next restaturant. The staff was not flexible at all. The rooms were old, the bathrooms are from the 80's. and full of water marks on the equipments. Breakfast was low level comparred to the price.

Nothing. All was good

Location, premises, pools, saunas, etc. The service, particularly of one person, who had an attitude, bad manners. But also with the lack of more people at the hotel, everything has to be done or asked at the reception

The location (on the Mullerthal trail) and relaxing (sauna and swinging pool) facilities. The bed was too short for me (stomach sleeper 1m80) and the pillow was too big. The first night I wanted to make use of the sauna but it was turned off, I later found out you have to ask for it in advance. I wanted to take a massage at the hotel, this wasn't possible any more even though it was one of their features. I made use of the Sunday Eden Barbecue, one piece of meat was still raw in the middle (I did get a replacement).

Traveling back in time but in a good way!

We were super happy about booking a sauna room. unbelievably the spa was not staffed and no one was available to answer questions or demonstrate various features.
-
No positives. Dated, old, room wasn’t ready even though we were given the key to check in… wouldn’t stay here again! €19 for breakfast doesn’t even give you eggs or coffee like cappuccino/latte etc…

Nice location great spa but when we were there it was rather deserted In the evening there was really NOTHING

Exceptional

The sauna suite was excellent—clean, comfortable, and with an exceptional view of the lake nearby. Friendly service, nice breakfast (separate payment), and great location. We're planning to revisit this place in spring. The property address on Booking.com was incorrect. If you plan to reach the hotel by car, find it on Google Maps. It would help if you had your bottle opener with you—there is no such thing in the room.

The rooms were big and clean. The bathroom was huge. I really liked the shower, and the bad for relaxing. The suite had a terras, where you could sit outside. Enjoy the sun. There were plenty of parkingspots. Wifi worked great. Friendly staff. Some noise coming from people at the lake.

The staff was amazing, location and city views were awesome. there is a covered pathway connecting the spa facilities to the hotel, so no need to go outside, which was great. Beds were a bit soft for our liking, breakfast was mostly bread and pastry, a few veggies would be nice.
-
Really nice sauna, best we’ve ever seen in a hotel. The view from the terrace. Really nice environment. Really spacious rooms. Staff was really friendly. There were no curtains, we had to close the roller shutter. Rooms were a bit outdated and bleak.

Sauna centre eas hard to find and there was no information about the opening hours (when saunas are hot). Some signs would help a lot.
