I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The location was convenient, and everything felt welcoming and relaxing. I really appreciated the attention to detail and the overall atmosphere. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable hotel experience.

I loved it all! The Grant Street Inn was in an excellent location, the Inn was very clean, the room was very spacious, and the little touches (decor, music in the garage, towels on each pool chair everyday, 24 hour gym, lovely staff, and beautiful landscaping) were all great! There was nothing negative about the Inn

The room was amazing and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Having said that I only have two issues with the stay. The first was the extra charge for our dogs. They failed to tell us what we would be charged over the phone when we booked the room. We were not expecting that charge and the other concern was the grounds keeper was up blowing leaves early on Saturday morning. I would still give the hotel a 10 out of 10. The location was amazing and literally surrounded by things to do on man street, food, cafes and shops.Loved it and will be our go to place when staying in Dunedin.

We stayed for 10 days and it felt like we were there by ourselves it was so empty. Room service only happens every 3 days. Written checkout time is 12PM but not true: it's actually 11AM. Since we stayed so long we got to know the locals a little, and a lot of them said it has been a very slow year. We asked for a checkout of 2 pm because our flight was not until 5:30 pm. We can’t just hang around the hotel after checkout because the gym and pool access require the key to work- of course the key stops working at 11am on checkout day. Even if we could sneak in behind another customer there are no public bathrooms or even change rooms. Not allowing a long stay customer to check out late makes no sense when the hotel is almost empty. The cleaning team could have placed us later on the schedule, and we made our request more than 24 hours ahead of time and again on the day of. They even placed a $50 pre-charge on our credit card just in case we checked out late they could make sure they billed us! The manager even tried to tell us this extra charge was “for our benefit”. They have lost us as repeat customers and we wanted to warn other travelers. If your plans end up needing a late check-out, even if you paid for numerous days, you’ll have to pay extra.

Amazing place for us on a short staycation.

Clean, safe and close to the coast and downtown Dunedin.

My flight arrived a day late and I was not able to contact the hotel to cancel. Upon arrival they told me I was a day late and that my reservation would be cancelled and they would charge me for the one missed day. But they needed me to pay a gain with a different credit card in order to get a room for the remaining 3 days. In the end they charged my AMEX for 4 nights PLUS They charged my Mastercard for 3 nights. PLUS They charged me a $50 cancellation fee. 7 nights plus cancellation fee is what I was charged all for staying there for only 3 nights! I have made repeated calls to the hotel. The listed number would never go through. I finally found an alternate number. I eventually spoke to front desk several times who say they are aware of the issue but need to defer to management. Management will not email or return my call.

I slipped in the shower and hit my head hard, because water was pooling in the shower that wouldn't drain and I didn't realize it

Great location, walkable to everything you want in Dunnedin. Staff was great, room was clean, quiet, and plenty big. Parking was excellent.

We stayed at here 3 nights. The rooms are large with a pretty good size balcony for enjoying the complimentary coffee and muffins from the lobby. The room was immaculate! Beds and linens are comfortable. The location is excellent - walking distance to great restaurants and shopping. We didn’t get to use the pool area but it looked beautiful! Exceptionally friendly staff. Would definitely recommend for a stay in Dunedin.

Parking was good, room was spacious, I needed a handicap accessible room and it was very comfortable. My only complaint is with the doors automatic opening. Several did not work, making getting around the hotel an issue. The doors are extremely heavy by design.

The staff was very friendly and I will stay there again in the future.
