Perfect location for local restaurants, bars and the beach ! Amazing views

Our check in time was 4:00, couldn’t get into room until 4:30. The room was not completely cleaned, only one towel, no tissues or toilet paper. There was half a roll, at best. One night we had a rain storm, which caused the window and door to leak and a lot of water was coming into the room. The location to the beach was great!

Very negative experience, and no response from the hotel since checking out. Room was dirty upon arrival, and never cleaned during our stay, in spite of asking. Had to ask for clean towels. It is not beach front by any means. What is presented online is incredibly misleading vs the reality of the hotel.

The staff was welcoming and nice for my free coffee every morning!

The room wasn’t real clean. Floor had sand/or dirt. Shower curtain had black spots. Yellow stains on bedding and towels. Toilet seat was chipped.
-
The room was FILTHY. Flooring was sandy and when wiped the towel was black. The shower is old and had mold. Don’t do it.

Place was nice and convenient....a little pricey but in the middle of the season
-
Lots of broken items in hotel room and dirty floors.
-
There was no shower curtain initially and the pillows were awful. For almost $500 a night, I expect a bit more.

Clean room and staff was helpful!

We stayed mid week and had an enjoyable stay. The room was clean, beds comfortable and all the basics for a pleasant stay meant. The rooms and bathrooms are a tab small, nothing fancy, but just fine for a few nights stay. The location can’t be beat. Easy short walk to the beach and nightlife.

Very nice

The location is great, close to beach, shops and multiple restaurants. The pool was nice and clean. The room was not so great. The air conditioner was very loud and would periodically wake you up in the middle of the night. The room was very dusty. It still had sand everywhere when we checked in ( its a beach so this is bound to happen). They offer free wifi which does not work, the main issue with this is that they have smart tvs without cable and suggest you to use pluto tv, but this didnt work since the wifi wasnt working at all. The worst part was the bathroom, there was a brown residue around the base of the toilet and tub which started to turn the towels brown. Multiple attemps to call the front desk without any answer. I would go back to Dewey, just not this hotel

The biggest problem is their parking situation. We paid $15 to park on site but there were hardly any parking spots. It looked like people who were not staying at the hotel were parking at the hotel so it was difficult to find a parking spot. Also, the spaces for your car to park are unreasonably too small. We parked in one spot and could not get our doors open to get out of the car. This was all the spots in the back of the property. It was a real problem to get a spot and rest assured our car didn’t get damaged. When I told this to the clerk checking me out she just smiled and said nothing. How are the hotel managers supposed to get feedback of problems on their property? The nice thing is the hotel was a short walk to the beach, like a small block.

There was no housekeeping in the room at all for a 5 day stay. The toilet was DIRTY when we arrived, I wiped it down myself. The trash was not emptied once- I brought it to the dumpster myself. No fresh towels delivered, no one takes used towels so they just pile up. I had to ask for a broom at the front desk- with a beach stay sand gets tracked in no matter how hard you try. For $400 + a night, you expect at least bare minimum- this didn’t even get there. We were kept up all night by people verbally fighting- yelling and swearing at each other. Parking is very difficult. On a positive the location is great and my kids enjoyed the pool.
-
Decently clean room minus scratches and paint peeling on the door- likely from a dog during a previous stay. It appears some updates were done but not kept up the best overall. Very noisy area to be in but close to popular restaurants.
-
Great location! Close to everything you’d need for a beach trip. A 3 min walk to the beach. Restaurants and shops super close.

Property was clean but rooms could use some updating. Light on wall flashed on and off, blind on window had holes in it, couch was pretty stained. Location was perfect and staff was very friendly and helpful. We did not use the pool or any other amenities.

It was perfect for 1 night
