Best Western Padre Island

We had to use the plunger on the toilet almost everyday. The pool was not usable due to it being very cloudy and dirty.

I had a wonderful stay at this Best Western! The hotel was exceptionally clean, and my room was spotless and comfortable. The front desk staff were welcoming, friendly, and always happy to help with anything I needed. The complimentary breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of fresh and tasty options to start the day. Overall, the combination of outstanding cleanliness, kind receptionists, and a delicious breakfast made my stay enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel!

Close to Mustang Island beaches and Padre Island National Seashore

Location was perfect. Pool was nice. Room was clean Breakfast - no bacon. But waffles were yummy. It was a pretty good breakfast. Just wish other meat besides sausage. Room doors were on the outside. I didn’t realize this when I booked it.

Motel style room with limited light, dark and dingy, tired room with cockroach.

We stayed 4 nights. Room was ok but maid never came until the 4th day. We had to ask for towels and ask each day if our room would be cleaned

Pet friendly Every time I come here, its a little more run down than last time. I feel like they dont have a maintenance team. Ceiling falling in, in the bathroom. Big gaps in the tile that cockroaches come out of, missing door on closet, dripping sink that wont stop, just to name a few.

Everything was great. We enjoyed our stay and will be returning on our next trip.

Expedia did not update cost of a pet. It is not 20 dollars as stated. It was 35 dollars. The hotel is in a good location for beach and restaurants (Snoopy’s and Docs are great). Room quiet and clean. Basic hotel. Breakfast okay. Will stay again for overnight convenience.

I didn’t like that there was a dirty rag behind the restroom door. And I didn’t like that the water pooled up in the tub when showering. Other than that our stay was fine.

The staff seemed empathetic to the issues with our room. Upon arrival, the system was down and it forced us to drive around for over 30 minutes with our 3 small children. Upon check-in, we attempted to take showers and acquire the ceib that was supposed to be availableupon request. The "crib" was a pack and play that was apparently broken so we now had no where for our infant to sleep. We went to let our children take a shower, and the knob to control the water temperature fell off as soon as we touched it. There was no conditioner, body wash and SOMEONE ELSE'S USED razor was still in the bathroom implying it had not been cleaned. We nixed the showers and went our for dinner as our room was really hot with the AC not being on when we arrived. We returned back about 1.5 hours later and the room was still unbearably hot. The TVs were still not working which we originally assumed was from their system issues. We went down to the front desk who offered us another room, but ultimately, without somewhere safe for thw baby to sleep, we decided the drive home (2 hours) was more accommodating than the facilities. The hotel agreed to refund our money (and has provided the reciept showing they have already returned it), however, Booking.com has not refunded our money and continues to hang up when we ask to speak with a supervisor to resolve this issue. Overall the hotel conditions were disappointing. The lack of customer service from Booking.com is absolutely unacceptable. I would delete this app as soon as possible and go with a more honest company.

Place was awesome. Nice suite! My kids loved it!

The sheets were dingy. And towels were dingy too. The pool needed cleaning due to debris but could have been from recent rains. Staff was nice and breakfast was good.
