Be Resorts - Mactan

Maybe something is missing. There should be an open beach line where customers could take a promenade or walk through the nearby beaches (like that of boracay).

Resort hotel feel as you enter, staff are very welcoming and always smiling. Room sizes are decent and we were provided with all that we needed. Pool is nice tho not heated and beach is nice tho it is not fine sand and also a bit small. Buffet breakfast is nice, decent variety of dishes and in the four days we saw that they changed the menu daily so it did not bore us. Design is nice and some small details makes it a nice hotel getaway. A plus that it is locates close to the airport. Their very strict un flexible check in/check out times and that the free breakfast was just for two adults per room whereas when we enter the number of pax is that we paid for 7 of us. Of course it forced us to pay for the kids since we need to avail of the complementary breakfast.

The rooms are great. Apparently, there was a triathlon event scheduled around the time that I booked the place for a business trip. I was NOT informed until the day prior that roads were going to be closed for 12 hours (4am til 4pm) whilst the event transpires. When I got to the property, I shared my honest & respectful feedback - to ensure that OTHER visitors IN THE FUTURE will not have to go through the trouble - the concierge simply said, "Because there's an event, that's why." Well, I clearly KNOW THAT, hence, the feedback. So on the day of checkout, I had to leave at around 2am just to avoid the trouble of being stuck when the roads have already been closed. WORST, just 5 minutes after I checked out while I waited for my co-worker to load up their luggage to the rental car, I asked for a GLASS OF WATER because it was going to be long drive & I was told I was NOT entitled to it BECAUSE I HAD ALREADY CHECKED OUT. It had only been 5 minutes! And its just a freakin' glass of water! I spent over P10K during my stay ONLY TO BE DENIED a basic necessity such as a glass of water. I've been travelling to Mactan for work regularly for almost 3 years & it was my first time booking with BE Resorts. And it will be the last.

Value for the money, food was okay, the beach is nice, close to the airport and convenient store. Good for family getaway. Friendly staff Some of the rooms like bathrooms need to be updated

Beach front

I like the pool facing the beach, but the water at their beach has not been well maintained. Some guests enjoy the sand and salt water, so it is important to be able to enjoy the water. The beach is dirty, and there is no wheelchair access to the beach. When we were swimming there, we saw a lot of trash and jellyfish.

Very accommodating staff and the food from their restaurant was good, they help us to look for a hospital nearby when our kid was not well. Everything is good except we have seen two cockroaches from one of our room we have stayed, not a big deal but something that we didn't expect.

We love Iiked the pool and overall facility and staff We reserve a room with breakfast for 2 adults and a 10yr old. When we got to the property we were told that we had to pay extra per day for my child. Normally when you reserve a room with breakfast its for the guest in the room. It was a requirement to tell number of people in the room. Not sure why we weren't told that upfront. We would never order food for us and our child not!!!

The place was nice. I love the pool facing the beach. It was weekend and there are many guests checking in but only 1 front desk was there to accommodate the guests. Next, Staff in Salt resto wasn’t very accommodating, others were very busy delivering the order but some are just standees. Maybe they are tired, however, it is part of their job to accommodate or assists the guests. I need to approach them for us to be accommodated. I was not expecting because the first time i visited the place the staffs are welcoming. The Wifi connection was also no good and there were few times power outage.

The lady at the reception and the staff in the restaurant were friendly and helpful. The room is modern and nice looking. The beach was ok. Room smelled moldy, no mold was visible though. Bed sheet was stained. The booking was for 2 adults and 2 children, one male member of housekeeping refused several times to provide small water bottles and towels for 4 persons and tried to charge for a stained towel. Apparently the towel got a stain when it was left near the window. I had the impression that it was this particular male staff's revenge for asking 2 additional water bottles. The same staff member repeatedly rolled his eyes, according to my partner. Breakfast was a bit chaotic, as tables were not assigned. Several guests kept large tables occupied for more than an hour until the rest of their families arrived.

The hotel pool was very dirty the water it looks like they didn’t clean pool especially the water.

Beautiful facilities. Nothing to complain. Very cozy. Restaurant always out of certain foods. So eat early. The run out fast.
