You can order room service, but there really weren’t clear directions on how to do it, and the phones in the room didn’t work. There also wasn’t enough communication about how to get around the resort or what was going on. The pool closes way too early, and there were a bunch of kids running around. I definitely think a resort like this should have an adults-only pool area. Overall, the property is beautiful, but for the amount of money we spent, I expected a lot more. The stay wasn’t horrible, but it was definitely mediocre and, for me, not worth the price.

The adult pool closing early at 9 pm

More poolside chairs than most resorts, never a problem finding a spot. Food at the hotel store was fresh and surprisingly good. Treo breakfast buffet was pretty good but too expensive. Pools were very nice, lazy river a bit short but nice. Gym was excellent. Comfortable room with great view.

Had a great time with my family

If you have kids of nearly any age this property is incredible. Plenty of food options for all different tastes and don’t get me started on the pool! The shining star is certainly the waterpark/ pool onsite. It’s got slides for bigger kids and slides for toddlers/small kids. The wave pool features kids movies on a big screen making for a memorable experience. We had an absolute blast and can’t wait to go back again!

The resort has so many activities for kids, which kept our family entertained throughout our stay. The highlight was definitely the water park, it was absolutely amazing! The slides, lazy river, pools, and splash areas provided hours of fun for both kids and adults. Overall, this is the perfect family getaway, and we can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, relaxing vacation with exceptional service!

Beautiful entry, rooms were very nice. Kids had plenty to do in the waterpark, the wave pool and the lazy river, just to name a few things. Restaurants were delicious, we tried 2 of the eight and the attention in our rented cabana was wonderful. Would go back. Great location

One night stay room was clean and comfortable bed. They charge you for everything here not like other hotels. For what I paid for the room the coffee condiments were expired ie creamer. I had to go to the front desk to get new creamer. No complimentary slippers and bath robes. The pools were heavily salted salt water treatment but you should not be able to taste the salt! Definitely improperly maintained. Food was good but wanted to eat at Growlers pub but they had a corporate event there so they were closed. Not very impressed as next staycation will NOT BE THERE. Enjoy paying 45 dollars a night for parking!! UNBELIEVABLE. Gonna check out the Hotel Del next.

It’s a great new resort. We have been going to other San Diego locations for 30 years and I believe this is our new location👍👍👍. EVERYTHING was great!!!!

Service could be better

Our room overlooked the pools and waterpark. The kids spent a whole day at the water park.

Somehow my $20 new NIKE shoes went missing from my room one night before checking out. I called front desk, they took a report and that was it, nothing else was done, nothing was escalated and upon checking out, it was as if nothing had happened. I mean, how do shoes go missing all of a sudden after it is cleaned? The pool areas are amazing, my kids, wife and I really enjoyed ourselves. The lazy river is amazing, the wave pool was the best part. Food is great, drinks are great and the best part is the resort is not overcrowded like you would think. Would I stay again? Well after the whole shoe incident, I am not too sure but aside from that, the resort is great.
