Always a great stay - value and comfortable beds, close to Prince's Island Park for Calgary Folk Festival. The suite/kitchenette gives us flexibility and convenience to prepare meals to eat or pack for the day, and other years, space to dry out blankets and clothing. The AC is only in the main living area in the 1 bedroom suite - pretty hot in the bedroom, though a fan was provided. Thank goodness Calgary usually cools down at night due to proximity to the mountains.

Great property, good value, great location, friendly staff, and quiet. I booked an extra night and my dog and I went out during the day to enjoy Calgary with exploring and so forth. We got back to the hotel room after a super hot and long day to find that all of our things were gone. The cleaning attendant came to clean the suit thinking that we were gone and my dog’s veterinarian prescribed dog food was thrown out!!! I home cook for her and this was her food for our trip. There were more than enough clues that we have not checked out. The cleaning attendant should have called the front desk to double check as all of our personal items were in the room. Sort of violating to have your things removed and then removed. Sorry, but this situation ruined our 2 day getaway from Lake Louise. I’ve worked in the hotel industry for 20 years and the attendant should have doubled checked the room status. Otherwise, everything is excellent at this hotel.

Great location and clean place

Great place, already rebooked for next year Little expensive but worth it for the size of the stay

The suite is complete with appliances we need and because it's spacious. The bedroom tends to get warm especially because the airconditioning system is in the living room. Hopefully, they can put or add an AC inside the bedroom.

Mark, the fellow who checked us in was excellent. He was friendly and efficient. I feel that he went out of his way to make our stay better. A very nice room, clean and the bed was comfortable. It's downtown location was great. No issues.

It was a single bedroom apartment style $25 per night parking spot
-
Main door was thin and could hear many sounds coming from the hall, such as loud people also staying on the same floor or the bell of the elevator. Sometimes could also hear the shower running in the room next door and above.
-
Mark at the front desk was so hospitable. The hotel was very clean and having a kitchen was so convenient. Parking was challenging to park a larger SUV
-
Very roomy suite accommodations. Starbucks coffee in the morning. Perfect location for tour pickup. Can't think of anything.
-
The parking was not included. Other hotels I stayed in Calgary offered parking, their parking lot was quite empty and still charges fees for parking. Just for this detail I wont book any more at coast hostel in Calgary.

The property itself seems a little worn and dated. It was next to some construction which was a bit loud. No water available in the lobby.

Upgrade to suite - amazing! Your location is perfect. Lovely to walk to supper, breakfast, Prince's Island...

Very comfortable stay

Clean, staff were fabulous. There was a teen volleyball tournament in the city. The teens were well behaved however the parent chaperones were not. Staff had to tell them to be quiet and then shut the party down. It was incredibly disappointing to see teens behaving more mature than the adults. Emma Rast was the employee who was absolutely exceptional in this situation.

Large room No air condition in bed room Floor is not clean
-
Very clean, modern, and rooms have almost everything you need. No real dining table or chairs; which was surprising since almost everything else was available.

Something weird happened. Guillaume was trying to wait something off of his $150.00 hoodie with a hand towel from the room and it seemed like the hand towel contained bleach or when these were washed - they weren't rinsed properly as they stained the hoodie with bleach. He tried with another towel and the same thing happened.

Clean, convenient

We had a huge room with full kitchen, and the location was excellent - just over the road to the airport bus.
